I own a 2008 Lund 1950 Tyee Gran Sport,
2008 225hp Merc Optimax w/19" pitch Stainless Steel Tempest prop, 2008 Merc 9.9 ProKicker.

Shes great for skinny and deep water. Was in 1.5ft of water and as deep as 150 feet. Mainly do downrigging with it for Salmon and Trout in the great lakes but I also fish Walleye, Pike, Bass and Muskie with it. 19'10" with a 98" beam.

Towed with a 2004 Dodge Durango Hemi Limited and a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Hemi.

I got rid of the old school skeeter and picked up a 03 Nitro NX896 DC with a Merc 200 and man is it sweet. I took it out this weekend and ran it 70.2MPH with 2 people in it and 3/4 of tank on the river with a strong current. I cant wait to take it to KY lake this March.

Man I tell you what. I am absolutely beside myself.
This has been a loooooooong winter and it's finally starting to go away.
This is the year I'm buying mama a new rig and I'm treating myself to a boat. I had my heart set on a bass boat, but lately I've been looking at deep V aluminums. I like the idea of having a full canvas, heated cab and having the ability to plow through rough open water on these big NW lakes, but I like the small footprint of a bass boat...
What to do, what to do...?

I see that. Cool
Nice boat.
Unfortunately people around here do not sell their fishing boats to often and when they do they want premium for them. It looks like I may have to travel to get a good deal.
I am going to look at a Range Rover for my wife today though.
Anyone know the tow rating on a Discovery Series II? I looked on the net, but I keep getting different answers.

I found a review of the '99 quoting:

"It also has an impressive towing capacity - 5,500 pounds in high range, 7,700 pounds in low range - making it a standout in its class. Finally, it comes with a standard integral Class III plus trailer tow hitch receiver."
