Hi

I use to berkley Trilene 0,36 mm for fishing in Indian Ocean in Oman. This line is good for baitcaster and baits between 3/8 oz to 2 oz. Trilene is soft and strong. I have only one problem after a few hundred casts line lose power and casting properties. I have to change line after one day fishing !!
I have some question. Whats happen with my line? What kind mono line has better durability in SW application. What do you think about Yo Zuri Hybrid? I do not like braided line...

thanks for your help..

Like nfband said, it could be rough structure. Maybe old line, too much UV exposure. You need to store mono in a cool dry place. I really don't know what to say. I could be just about anything.

Take a cotton ball or swab, and run it along the inside of your guides to check for damaged guides. If you get some cotton stuck in a guide, your guide is damaged.

I've heard a LOT of good stuff about Yo-Zuri. I haven't tried it yet though.

I LOVE braid!! it's 10,000x better than mono!! It has a smaller diamiter, casts farther, has better knot strenght, doesn't age, and it is stronger!!

Try Stren Super Braid or Berkley Fireline. for my In-shore Salt Water I like 14lb. test.

GIVE BRAID A TRY!!

Hi

I use PP 20 lbs braided line sometimes. The fact that it doesn`t strech is avice IMO.. Mono line is better for long cast distanse. Now with friend we check Yo Zuri Hybrid 15 lbs. I hope will be better.

When I used to PE line many times I had unbend hooks !! Shocked
