Removing the bearings in a Revo is much like a Daiwa.

1. Reel before operation. In its natural state.
Revo 1

2. Reel, schematic, tools, coffee. The things I need to work on reels.
Take note of the chop stick. I use it to reseat the bearing clips.
Revo 2

3. Palm plate retaining screw.
Revo 3

4. Palm plate rotates up.
Revo 4

5. Side plate and spool.
Revo 5

6. Clip and bearing removed from side plate.
Revo 6

7. Spool with pin tool. Note: The spool pin and the pin hole are tapered. The pin must me pushed out to the large side of the pin and replaced in the large side of the hole.
Revo 7

8. Spool bearing and clip removed.
Revo 8

The bearing size are.
Palm Plate 3x10x4
Spool 5x11x4

Both bearings are the same size as a Steez and a Conquest 50.

D.R.
How to get the reel bag?
Together with the packge?
STX knobs already come with bearing?
Then,
Can you post a schematic?
I have interest to see inside the body.

TQ

Yplee33,

The reel cover is a Daiwa neoprene reel cover with the Daiwa name covered with a black permanent marker and my wife painted the Revo name with a paint pin. All my reel covers are marked with the reel name like the Revo. It makes it easy when looking in the rod locker.

The Revo STX comes with 4 bearings in the handle. Two in each knob.

I don't have an on line source for a STX schematic.

Tournament,

You will need to go with ZPI or Boca as TG does not offer the 5x11x4 at this time.

Tournament,

The bearing clip in the palming side cover has a mind of its own. You put it in a clear bag to remove it. I keep a bag full in my shop. I have lost a lot of clips and have never found one. big grin

I hate parts like that. All suicidal wanting to jump off the table. I should be geting a pay check soon, so I might be able to get some bearings before summer. Mowing lawns as a teen has its advantages, but winter is not one of them. But in the summer, when I can mow 7 lawns a week if I wanted to, I can bring in $1050.00 a month. Thats a lot of reels and rods Think... And I get to spend time out side.

D.R
How come just upgrade bearing only?
Never think about carbon handle & high performance spool?

Hey D.R. if you find any of your clips see if any of mine are laying next to them, cause I can't seem to find them around here after they've gone flyin'.
