Will my epoxy turn Yellow

was wondering if anyone has used devcon epoxy and if it would turn yellow after time.

what I use it for is the hook hanger I tair it off and put epoxy around the blank it looks really good plus I hate hook hangers I've already put it on and it aint yellow yet. But heard after a couple months epoxys turn yellow or if long use in the sun can change it to yellow too...

I've used Devcon 2 ton Epoxy before (clear) on crankbaits and it is supposed to "never yellow". I have not noticed ANY yellow effects on my crankbaits that are around 4-5 months old, but that is very little time in the world of fishing.

is there a uv rating on the box? if so thats what you need for it not to turn yellow.

I used the 5 min epoxy why.......

In my experience...Devcon 5 min will yellow.

Devcon 5 min will definately yellow...and so will the 30 min., it just takes much, much longer for the 30 (the 2 ton).

I took a crankbait blank I had accidentally cracked during shaping and coated it with D2T and left it out in the sun for a month just see what happened. Yellowed.

Thanks for all the info I took it off with a little heat and went to my local little fishing shop got some flex coat and the owner let me barrow the rod drier for a couple days awsome shop... Cool

ANGLERS DEN is the shop name
that wouldnt happen at sportsmans, BPS, Cabelas
