I bought the 6'6" MH version. It was, indeed, a light rod, but was quite tip-heavy due to tall double-footed guides all the way to the tip and a shorter-than-usual foam handle.

A Viento. But since I palm the reel and it is at the fulcrum, the reel's weight doesn't matter much. I mounted a different (lighter) reel on it when it first arrived and the rod's tip-heavy feel was the same. The rod has no foregrip, so the reel will be palmed by virtually any user.

Mine came in Saturday, took it out to a nearby pond and hooked into this guy. Held up great, no complaints so far.

I just received the 6'9" ML one today. I'm trying to replace a spinning tackle with this one + PX68 for finesse. Hopefully, it works well.

Does it have double-footed guides all the way to the tip, or just on the bottom four or so?

Let us know how it works and with what lure weights!

Rods must be closing out...

I checked TW because they price match and free shippong, but TW only has one MH model at $149...

These sure would look good with the New Quantum Smoke baitcaster that will be available this fall. All blacked out and stealthy.

Is it worth it to get the Cabelas club visa just for the extra deals? Do they have the Stella discount any more than it is already in the Bargain Cave?
