Mundo, Your offer to provide these spaces to TT Members is extremely generous. Say's a lot about you as a person. Generosity is usually returned 10X when you least expect it......so I personally think your future looks particularly bright :D =D>

Update:

I just tested the production spacers today on an Alphas Ito, R and the Pixy (only plate side of course). They worked ok on all the reels, the fit on the Ito is not as tight because the reel does not have any finish and the bore is a little bit larger but in my opinion they still hold on just fine.
I will be shipping them today to Dug, so please send your address and required quantity to him.

Mundo, thanks a lot. I cant wait for them to arrive..... \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

I was looking since a while for such spacers, cause i love the casting-performance of the Pixy/Presso, but am somewhat dissappointed about how they feel....now i will be able to mix up and have the best of out of two great reels. =P~ =P~

Mundo is a genenous guy, so if some fellow members here are living in Switzerland or a country close to it....PM me, i dont have enough reels for all those sets he is sending to me. :big grin:

And if someone here has a spare spool for a pixy or presso he wants to get rid of (but i doubt that.... :-k ).....feel free to drop a pm !

Got the spacers in today, and other than being a little rough around the edges worked great!! Thanks Mundo.

All, when you get them they will need to be de-burred just a little bit. I used emory cloth to sand them down gently around the edges and the inside of the spacer, and then they pretty much just snapped into place. I tied them with the Presso spool and the ZPI spool and now my ZPI spool sits in my Sol. This is going to be fun. Will actually fish it sometime this weekend and let you know how it goes.

Here are some suggestions as to how to prepare the spacers and how to install them, it is very easy, just do it slowly
By the way I did use a real camera instead of my louse cell phone camera.
Some general guidelines:

1.- The reel should be clean, no dirt or grease where the spacers are going to be installed!
2.- The spacers, as Dug mentioned were not detailed, they may have rough edges and small burrs caused by the laser cutting, you need to remove those with FINE sand paper, aluminum is very soft so I suggest that you use 400 grit and go to a higher number if you want a more polished look, I used 1500 grit ( see pictures )
3.- DO NOT SAND the outside diameter, the marks from the cutting give the fit, if you remove them the spacer will be too loose.
4.- Try to avoid sanding in the air, the side with the burrs should be sanded against the sandpaper in a flat surface, the inside surface is to be sanded with the spacer against some support.
5- Install from the center of the frame, use your fingers to press them into place, then use your fingernails to push slowly to have the spacer flush with the inner edge of the frame, once it is aligned the fit will be tighter.
6.- On the handle side you do not need to push it to the bottom of the frame, it is better to leave it flush, looks better and you will still hava a small gap in the inside should you decide to remove the spacer.
7.-Try not to install and remove them too many times, the may get damaged or loose the fit. aluminum is very soft.

The sure went fast, and as i already told you some were left here by mistake! ](*,) (5 sets)

Fedex is normally very quick, Mexico´s mail is terrible, besides we have a good rate with FedEx.

If more sets are needed that can be worked out, please just let me know.

One very interesting thing that I found out this morning is that you can fit a Sol spool into a Zillion! or a Pixy spool for that matter, of course a proper spacer will be needed, but I know where to get those  As far as a TDZ o Steez spools, I do not have any to try, but I guess it can be done also, am I becoming spool-holic?
Anyway, I have been waiting for too long for a 100m spool for my zillion, so I guess I will go ahead and test a I´ze apool I have... \:D/

Thanks to everybody for your interest, please let me know your feedback, even if it is not that good, I want everybody to receive something that works!

Mundo, i was really impressed as i checked the tracking this morning.....too bad my wife was not at home, so the fedex-guy left and took the spacers with him....dang.

Well, Monday will be my "Pressospool-meets-Custom Alphas-Frame"-Day.

Your post above is interesting.....what would happen if i would be able to put the Ai-spool without radial gap inside the TD-Z-Frame.... :-k  =P~

Yeah Mundo after all is said and done, you have rocked this! an excellent job on the pictures, great tips, and the spacers snap right in. I may end up trying to polish the side facing the spool, but just taking off the rough and these spacers are great, I will try and take some photos of my SOL with them in this afternoon and post them.
