I finally got it opened. Upon inspection, there was no damage to the main gear and the spool pin. The only damage that occurred happened to the pinion gear (as seen in the photos). I will be ordering a Calcutta Conquest DC from plat, so im thinking ill order the pinion gear from there as well? Im no...

I think I found my culprit.... So I took out the spool and made a few rotations.... no issue with a grind. But as soon as I put the spool back in, there is a noticeable grind. I checked the spool pin and everything looks good. And then I looked at the pinion gear and here's what I found....... I cir...

Also..... If there are any recommendations for reel servicing let me know. Its been awhile since i've been on the forum and I havent seen too many of the OG tuners. If I cannot figure out this issue I may just send it off.
