Re: TD Ito 103HL Stripped Drive Shaft

I was looking at what you did and it looks very nice but I think it is a little out of my skill level :D

I was hoping to source a replacement one.

TD Ito 103HL Stripped Drive Shaft

Bought a used TD Ito lefty and the drive shaft seems to be stripped. I can not get the handle nut to stay tight. I tried lock tight and it worked for a little bit but as soon as I caught a couple fish it loosened up. Reel is in otherwise nice condition and I enjoy fishing with it. Anyone know if any...

Scorpion 1000 Side Plate Brake Case

Does anyone know how to separate the brake case from the side plate on the Scorpion 1000 I wanted to take it apart clean it and polish the race but I can not for the life of me figure out how to get it apart. I removed the "c" clip under the bearing. https://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/1/7/2/6/3/4/web...

Re: Chronarch Stiff Idle Gear

Thanks Bantam! I just ran each side of the brass shim over a piece of 1,000 grit paper (wet) along with the e-clip and to my surprise it made a huge difference and is now smooth. ;)

Chronarch Stiff Idle Gear

I’m in the process of cleaning up a Chronarch 51mg and as I’m putting it back together I noticed that the Idler gear seems a bit stiff when I turn it by hand. It can only go back together one way so I know I put it back together correctly. Seems to me with the line guide pawl out it should spin a bi...

Help - Should I throw my Chronarch 50mg in the Garbage

Need some help here. The other day I took my Chronarch 50 mg apart to flush the bearings and service it which I occasionally do and some how I lost the insert that goes in to the frame for the clutch pawl spring. I have taken a fair amount of these reel apart and I never noticed a removable insert b...

Re: Help with reel covers

I'm also a fan of the rod glove covers. Size small fits my Daiwa Alphas, Sols and Pixys well and they are relatively inexpensive.

Re: Has Anybody Dealt with Outlet Bait and Tackle?

I've ordered from them a half dozen times with good service and fast shipping. Got some good deals on terminator spinnerbaits and jigs. Their inventory is always changing so check their site often for good deals.

Re: Alphas Ito

There was one for sale recently in the classified section. The thread was Alphas ITO cover. Another option would be a Daiwa SOL side plate. Good Luck

Re: Alphasaurus internal explosion

The two side plates on my Ito's broke as well in the same location but not during casting. They started to crack and them overtime when i was removing the side plate they fell apart. I replaced the side plate with a side plate from a Daiwa SOL and i think they were about $13 a pieces from Daiwa and ...

Re: Need Drag Star Curado CU 100B

Thanks for the reply Kenn. I looked at the schematic for the "G" series curados and they do have the spring and click pin. I think if i get the star drag click washer it should work. The parts are under $10 so i think i'm going to give it a shot.

Need Drag Star Curado CU 100B

I'm in need of a drag star for a Curado 100B. I know the drag star from a 200B will work but I will lose the drag clicker and I also know the drag star from a chronarch 50 series will probably work but its the wrong color. Does anyone know if a drag star from a Curado G series will work on the old C...
