Re: Alphas CT SV 70 - Finesse Cranking
I worry the same about having a 7.2 Millionaire CT (no gear replacement). I agree with everything about the light casting abilities, a ML rod with 8lb fluoro lets mine shine. I use it for lighter techniques and keep a looser drag, so hopefully the gears will survive a while in that aluminum frame.....

Re: Which Vanquish for Megabass P5 LANDSAT
Both 2500 and C3000 are 2500 size body and rotor. Do you think the litghter drag would be finer? Thanks for the replys If the 2500 and the C3000 share the same body and rotor. What is the difference? On Shamino's website they show the same size spool. Only difference I see is line capacity and 5 gr...

Re: NRX+ 854 vs 894
The 844 mbr and the Power Pitch are very similar. Both have there strengths. The 844 mbr is more sensitive and a little stouter. The Power Pitch is better at pitching and balances better. It has a nice tip on it but not as sensitive. It's close to the NRX+. The PP makes a nice frog rod to. I like th...

Re: Steez AGS 7'2" Heavy vs. BLX 7'2" Heavy+ vs. P5 7'3" FMJ vs. Poison Adrena 7'2" Heavy vs. XX Perfect Pitch
If you are walking frogs and bottom contact. Then I would go with the Steez 72h. Fantastic rod. No way would I work a frog with the P5 FMJ. The FMJ excels at bottom contact. Especially with a T-Rig. It is one fast powerful rod. I would also check out the NRX+ 844 mbr. It is similar to the Steez 72h....

Re: 2021 steez ags rods
Anyone have any thoughts on the 7'2 Moving Bait Versatile? Could it do a 3/8-1/2 chatterbait with trailer? Thanks I would not fish a chatterbait with it. I originally got one for sq bill fishing. I quickly realized it execels at swim jig fishing. IMHO they should rename it to the swim jig special.

Anyone have the hood crack on the lock nut? Mine cracked yesterday on my target sniper while fighting a fish. Cracked right where it meets the reel foot. Sure hope Daiwa warranties it. It's only a little over a year old.

Re: Have you preordered a mb p5 destroyer?

Flyssa, Addermine, and Javelin are expected "Summer 2023" at this point. I was out on the water today with 6 casting models and enjoyed my time thoro...

Just ordered a P5 FMJ thru the tackle trap. If you are wanting to order a new P5 reach out to Gary(Bronzefly). Looks like they will be coming in around the end of next week.

Re: Poison Adrena 6’10” M
Looking for a medium power casting rod since I currently don’t have one! If you have the rod, what do you use it for? Will pair it with a Chronarch 50Mg \:D/ What are the intended applications? I fish with nothing but Daiwa reels and have never had a problem on any of the Shimano Poison Adrena rods...

Re: G loomis NRX+ 844C MBR vs NRX+ 873C CRR
I think yes the 844 has more versatility, I don’t know of anything I couldn’t use it for with at least to a degree of success. My number one favorite technique for the 844 is swim jig. Love it. The 873 is an amazing rod. Shines of course for a Carolina rig with like a 1/2 oz weight. I don’t care fo...

I have a Daiwa Presso AGS 2 piece rod. That sucker is so sensitive. I can feel it when a crappie feeds up. Blew me away.
