Re: Tailwalk Backoo Rise rods?

I've got the S 672ML and had for testing purposes paralel also the 702ML. Didn't like it very much. The "bend" in the 672 is much more harmonic and sensitivity is also much better. Balances quite well with a Rarenium CI4+ 2500. Overall quite a value for the money. Of course not on par with e.g. Ever...

Re: Reel For Evergreen SuperStallion Black

Would an IP Variant or Tatula HD Custom be an alternative?
A good friend of mine has the Tat HD on his Super Stallion and really likes it. He even fishes for cod with this combo...

Re: FX73/T3 Mago vs Morethan SV TW / Zillion PE Special

The grooving wasn't in the T-Wing, it was in the Front bar.
Of course you could cast up to 80gr with it. But I doubt, if so, it will then last for a lifetime

Re: FX73/T3 Mago vs Morethan SV TW / Zillion PE Special

Which/what specs?? I've owned both, T3 and T3 Ballistic and personally would never go above 1Oz. I have also encountered the grooving Problem in the Front bar (with braid),as mentioned here on TT. For me, again Personally, the T3 and its brethren are more like "heavy" finesse baitcasters 8-) I felt ...

Re: FX73/T3 Mago vs Morethan SV TW / Zillion PE Special

Hi
I wouldn't even consider any T3 Variante for Lures up to 1,5 Oz. This is zillion territory
So, Morethan and the PE Special would be the way to go. Or maybe even an IP?

Re: Reel for 1/2-2oz lures

Best bang for the buck, but not shimano, would be a Tatula HD. Different gear ratios available, a lot of line capacity and cast's a mile from 5/8 to 4 Oz...
As example, from France or germany for around 165 to 175, shipping included... No taxes?!?
