My trick darter sinks with the original hooks and there tiny. So a quality fix would be interesting to me as well.

Re: All around spinning rod (NRX v. ST. C LE v MB Add)
I know it's not an option listed but a custom on the sc5 mlxf would be a show stopper. Small guides and cfx carbon handles
Would give you a rod that is unforgettable. I have a mxf rod done this way and nothing compares. I have fished a few MB rods
And an Nrx along with a couple of steez.

Re: Better walk the dog bait than Lucky Craft Sammy?
I love the DUO pencil baits and they are the easiest to walk of any of the baits i have used. They produced well for me in CT but the topwater action here in TN is kinda garbage. Its fall now so i will be dragging them back out for another run.

Re: cranking rod
The 764 tm has a super short handle. Got one with very little use I would like to get rid of. If the handle was better length it would be a game changer for me. Where are you.

Phenix x-13 blank custom crankbait
Im a guy that like a rod that can do almost everything. This trait was embodied in my white python, a rod i still have and love to this day. Which brings me to my new project a highly versatile cranking stick for tournament fishing. I read the review from CAL and started to really dig on this rod bl...

Trim off a couple feet of line and see if it changes or goes away.

I clean the guide inserts with a q tip and alcohol. The blank gets plexus and a nice soft cloth to clean
And polish.
And polish.

Lin 10 and ryoga spools.
Are the lin 10 and the ryoga 1016 the same when it comes to a spool? By this i mean do the spools fit each other. To take it a step further will any steez compatible spool drop right in both. I have a rcs 1016 spool that i would like to use if the reel does not require any modifications with the exc...

Re: Best braid for spinning reels?
So far my favorite for ml rods is 15 832 and medium rods 20. I run a 2000 size reel on the ml and 2500 on the medium.

I think they started high because the enthusiasts are the talkers. We are the ones in the know that recommend and push products. How many times have you been asked which reel to get.

No need to cut off a twist lock. Just spin it off.

Re: Need help picking a reel
So if you have all that money invested in line and spools why not get another reel that uses the same diameter spool. For that money you can get an sv-103 and use the spools between all the reels you own.

Best Ryoga reel cover Lefty option???
Just ordered a RYOGA 1016 and it comes with a bag but i would like to find a high quality reel cover for it while mounted. I fish left handed so that would help a lot.
