The reel was clearly a Lews LFS. It also had red and black Winn flat paddle knobs. Maybe it was a prototype. The MLF rerun show is on the Outdoor Channel on Friday at 9.00 a.m. eastern. The reel is shown in the early part of the show.

The whole reel was a darker shade of red. The Smash reel is a neon red with a black frame.

During the latest MLF show there was a red Lews reel on the deck of Vandam's boat based off the newest LFS casting reel. I wonder if it is a new KVD version to be released this year?

I recently bought a SLX DC for fishing bladed jigs. I also have used a regular SLX for over a year or so. After comparing both I prefer the cheaper SLX. My favorite trailer is the RI Little Dipper. It works from spring to fall. I fish natural lakes with clear water and lots of weeds.

Pretty sure this is a Daiwa Japan only reel.

Daiwa USA version will be coming later.

The Zillion 10 is on Daiwa US website.
