The Deputy would work for sure, but don't under sell the toadface sweet tip great back bone can handle what you are looking for plus frogs, and some jig work also i use it primarily as my 3/8 ish jig rod. I have the the deputy, toad, and dragger and the toad is a great rod my fav of the 3

Ok so ordered a G-Rod Game Changer 7' med hvy, and was able to put some turny time on the water with it this weekend. For a comparison I used it against my ALX ZOLO's, I have the Toad face & Dragger and was looking to add a 7'ish rod to handle tubes T rigged worms or anything bottom contact in 3/16 ...

G-Rods have peaked my interest, but have been hesitant in pulling the trigger on one since there are not a lot of reviews out there for the rod actions normally used for bottom contact most reviews are for moving bait actions. I think I might have to pick one up at TW sale and give it a go.

It's a sweet rod very versatile also it snaps a frog around no problem, can handle senko's also, I use it primarily as a finesse jig rod 5/16 ish. i liked it so much picked up a Dragger and my next purchase is the deputy or thinking of trying a G rod in 7ft they have peaked my interest also

It's all in the packing I have never received or sent a rod that arrived broken. and I pretty much buy online just to play with a rod I have been wanting to get my hands on for a test drive.

I cant speak for the kistler but have owned Dx and in my hands the NRX wins every time

if the bait falls in the weight range of the rod I use the same rod for both

I went with the chair cap and 2 quarters with my TP pro and it balances at the nut, and the chair cap doesn't look bad at all

I'm with Topwater the 2 hotties left of KVD is who I would want to meet

Im looking to add a WJ rod that falls in between the two I curentley have I'm eyeballing the 873C,853, & 893C what I need to know is if the tips are stiffer than the MBR. I love the MBR for working rigs on the lower end...

My 894 arrived thrusday and got to play with it today, and compared to my DX 744 it handels the weights pretty much them same I dont throw 1oz.
