I've been using the 8.9 ratio aldebaran pretty regularly since they came out (right hand) and the gears have stayed out of the box butter smooth so far. I would only imagine putting them in a conquest frame and having absolutely no flex would only enhance longevity.

Got mine in last week, used it a couple times so far. Weighs 2.93oz on my scale so super light for a 7'2" MH. Balance point with a 6oz alphas is about a 1/2" in front of the lock nut. While subjective, it's a very sensitive rod, I've ditched using t-rigs to test sensitivity and now use wei...

I also ordered the epitome 725 and will test side by side against the full gamut of edge rods. I have the silver widow (x-ray), black widow (hm), first strike (IM) and a custom delta blank rod.

Dang over $300??? I paid $230 for mine and I think it’s well worth the price of entry at that point.
