Re: Megabass's Unheralded Spark Shad Swimbait
For the Decoy Makisasu Weighted worm hook, I am 99% this is the hook that I have where the weight can slide on the hook shank for placement where you want it (at work, can check when I get home if it matters). Mustad makes one like that... covered that in the writeup of the Yamamoto Kickin Zako The...

Re: Megabass's Unheralded Spark Shad Swimbait
Gotcha on the Owner twistlock CPS hooks--the smaller owner flashy hooks work, but from the article, I was thinking that you were asking about regular weighted hooks with a centering pin and not the underspins that are out there. For the Decoy Makisasu Weighted worm hook, you can adjust the placement...

Re: Megabass's Unheralded Spark Shad Swimbait
Decoy makes a weighted hook (with a centering pin) in the smaller sizes. It is the Decoy Makisasu Weighted worm hook--the weights are lighter, in keeping with the finesse deal for the 3 inch Spark Shads. Also, Owner does make its Twistlock CPS weighted hooks in sizes small enough for the 3" inc...

Re: Megabass's New Sleeper Craw : Just Tie It On, Pitch It Out, and Get Bit
I hope these become available in smaller sizes and weights. How come? I've caught 12 inch to 6 lbers this spring on the Sleeper Craw. I've found that even the small fish have the lure in the mouth. Are they that good? May need to pick up one, so many confusing color options. I really think so. They...

Re: JDM vs. Domestic Antares '19
Thanks for the response. I am aware of no warranty here for a JDM model, but I wasn't sure if there were any differences like there is in the Metanium models for the reel itself.

JDM vs. Domestic Antares '19
I am aware of the differences between the JDM and Domestic Metaniums--spool/handle size being the main ones. Similar question for the Antares (specifically, the '19 model). What are the differences between the JDM and US models? The line capacity seems identical based upon specs I've found online as...

Re: Shimano Core Reel noise
Rem Oil is a little heavy for the brakes but it does work. Our Bantam Oil is the correct viscosity for this application. The reel box should have had a bottle inside. Apply a few drops to a q-tip and apply it to the brake race. This will eliminate the noise you have unless a bearing has gone south....

Shimano Core Reel noise
Last few outings I have a noise in two of my Core reels; sounds like rubbing two sheets of paper together when I am casting, no noise on the retrieve. Is it just time to get them serviced or did I wear out a part?
