Re: Megabass US Destoyer new models added to lineup
Does the flyssa have the same reel seat/handle as the addermine? Seems like a great open water rod for smallies.

Re: fantasista regista
Drove home, during lunch, to check out the 6'10" Fantasista that got dropped off by UPS. The rod shipped from Hodgkins, Il, so I was hoping it would get to Michigan in good shape. It's everything I expected it to be. I've been wanting to try a Fanatasista for a long time. What a steal for $158 ship...

Re: MajorCraft Speedstyle 610+MH?
I've got the 6'8" MH speedstyle rod but the two piece version. I actually love the reel seat. I personally like to completely palm my reels and this reel seat was designed just for that. I've got small hands and I'm still able to palm depending on the reel. It really shines with a small reel like an...

Re: Megabass Orochi XX... What’s next for the USDM??
For the guys that broke their new xx rods. Why not just return the rods to the store vs going through the warranty process? I would hate to waste the one "free" warranty claim on a new barely used rod. I've got the Diablo and Brailist on pre-order, hoping for no issues with mines but sometimes u ne...

Re: JDM Casitas spool?
I was interested in this spare spool for my Casitas until I saw the price on Hedgehogs website. $97! That's nearly the price of a new Casitas! Might as well just buy the jdm reel on ebay.

Re: KLX or Tatula?
I like the tatula reel better on the tatula rod reel seat, compared to the Fuji ecs reel seat. Just grips better because the tat rod seat is slimmer. Matters to me cuz i got smaller hands. Got my tat rod for cheaper too.

Re: Lew's Tourney Pro 5.4 question...
I wasn't getting as much distance with 1/4 lures either compared to my regular tp. I got dobyns 764cb, but with 10 lb yozuri hybrid . Was thinking bout buying a regular spool that holds less line than the 5.4 spool. Should help with lighter lures. But haven't flushed bearings, maybe I'll try that. M...

Re: Who else wants to see this more in Lews' lineup
Maybe I'm missing something. Is the bb1 frame completely different that palming it isn't the same as the tourney pro? If they are different, then yes, I'd like to see the tourney pro with this braking system, otherwise it wouldn't make sense.

Re: Gamakatsu weedless drop shot hooks for wacky
I've had good luck using those. The guard does get chewed up after a couple fish. I had one get loose and slide down the hook. Won't last forever but I'm still happy with them.

Re: Tatula Type Rs in stock at TW
That spool is super light. How light? (If anyone can answer this, please indicate whether the weight includes a spool bearing.) http://i927.photobucket.com/albums/ad119/tywithay/IMG_51953037149059.jpeg Tatula doesn't have a bearing on the spool shaft. One in the non-handle sideplate, other is under...

Re: A few observations with the Tatula
Don't know if it's mentioned already but my type r spool weights 0.57 oz.
Entire reel weighs 7.72 oz. I have the Lefty high speed, if that matters at all.

Re: Sustain FG verus Stradic FJ/CI4+
Love my sustain. My buddy has the stradic Fj, not badbut still prefer the sustain. Noticeably Lighter and just looks bad ass. Now, I wouldn't pay retail for it though. Wait for a sale and you'll save money. Bass tackle depot just had the sustain on sale labor day. Now if I were to buy a reel today, ...
