Re: Higher End Rods

I know you mentioned Megabass but the Shimano Poison Adrena and Expride are both excellent rods. They will match visually and performance wise. The Expride has more models and the silver accents in the rod would look sharp with the Metaniums paint.

Never sweat the quality of photos! They look great! Great looking outfits! I need to do photos of mine sometime. I have 25 higher end bait casting combos that are all color coordinated to the rod

Bad to the Bone

Recently picked up my first Zbone. Just happened to have a lonely Core 50mg7, supertuned with a few extra red HH Studios parts laying around. The two match well and should be a good jig and plastics setup. I believe the total weight is around 9.3 oz. Not bad, given both are a bit older. https://i.po...

Re: Suggestions for some new reels

My GF was actually quite impressed by the spider logo. As a matter of fact it it what drew her to the reel. It’s her Daiwa “Tarantula” as she calls it.

Re: Suggestions for some new reels

No harm in branching out. My collection is about 40 percent Shimano and 60 percent Daiwa. How many reels are you wanting to obtain and is their a sad budget? From your current fleet is appears you are sampling some of Shimanos finest offerings. I don’t swimbait so I will let others handle that... Fr...

Re: GLX reel seats

The newest GLX rods? If so I don’t find them bad at all. I have a GLX MBR 844 I have been fishing for a few years with no issues on the seat the uncomfortable.

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's

Webp.net-compress-image (2).jpg A couple reels I just finished up recently. The Sv103 and Coastal TWS came out great; lots of goodies and fun modifications packed in those. Just picked up the Zillion SV and threw a few things on it so far and I've got to thank my main man Johnny Skinnz, for sending...

Re: Protecting reels from scratches

I am quite careful and always keep them covered but bobber and egg fishing for salmon and having to rebait every few casts makes it impractical to cover reel every time..... If only i had a third arm! I have heard of a third “leg” but never an arm. :big grin: I am going to sit in the corner in time...

Re: Tackle Tour LIVE

Sounds like a couple of winners for your spool choices. Sadly I had a few pixies out with stock spools, 1/8 oz lures and 4 pound line. Add those wind gusts and random change of directions and it was a disaster. One bird nest was so bad I had to make sure the Eagles and hawks weren’t thinking that wa...

I could host the watch this backlash special! Wind here has been fierce (15-25 with gusts over 35). I had two reels blow up on me bad last weekend

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's

I love all the color variations of the zillion sv tw’s! I didn’t see a gold one in there so I’ll post mine. It’s got a steez a 90mm handle, full slp works dress up kit, slp limited event gold knobs, zpi pg spool and bearings, HH studio gold parts to round it out. It sits on my Sedition White Falcon...
