Re: Exsence dc 17 dc sound gone
Ah, wasn’t sure if the other later models used the same DC settings. Sorry I am out on this one. I have two of the Chronarch D framed ones and never an issue

Re: Exsence dc 17 dc sound gone
There is a setting on that reel where it will not whine. I think it is called SP. I know it works while using min-max setting so make sure you try it in that range before troubleshooting the reel internally or buying a new DC unit

Re: Suppress/silence DC whine?
That is one of the draws of a DC reel  . Sort of comes with the territory. If it is the older model Exscence DC you may try the night mode called "SP". This setting typically as very little to no wine from my experience though there is a slight trade off in casting distance. I have tw...

Re: More false advertising from shimano
You would think someone or someones would review material before it went live on the internet or in this case YouTube. Not trying to bash Shimano as I have dozens of their reels and rods but with all the YouTube viewers out there it and message boards, it wouldn't take much for someone to watch a &q...

Wow, what a relief! So glad to have you back and available for questions and what not.

From the sounds of it (just a gut feeling), I would say we are getting them in the US!FishShimano wrote:While we sincerely appreciate your interest, we hope you'll understand that we can't disclose new product info and company business plans ahead of schedule.

Love the looks and the price but the reviews seem a bit disappointing from users. Would have been willing to spend another $50 for better balance and bit better feel.

Re: Envy?
Thanks for your reply to my question Matt. I will pick up one over the winter to try since the release date or potential release date is a ways away.

Envy?
Forgive me if this has been discussed already somewhere, but are there any plans to re-do the Envy line of rods like the Omen? Considering getting one over the winter but if a new rod will be released within the next 3-6 months I would rather wait.
Thanks for your reply!
