I use 40lbs Power Pro and do not have any issues with it. The only advantage I see of going up to 50lbs or higher is to avoid keeping your line digging in on itself.

That is cool. I wonder, though, if we're going to see yet more reels built on the same platform as the Abu Garcia/Lew's/Bass Pro Shops/Pflueger baitcasters. Good question. The only rod I have heard of for sure is the crank bait rod. Guess we will just have to wait and see what they unveil at iCast.

It has never happened to me or anyone that I know.

Suffix Siege is great line, I have never tried the Sunline.
