Re: Trika Rods

trikaip68a.jpg trikabenda.jpg Got the 7/6 mh fast. Feels like a mh/h . It's got a fair amoumt of tip, but it feels more to heavy side. A lot stiffer then a CNQ904. I think it will serve well as a bottom contact rod. The hook hanger is closed, would prefer an open type for texas rigs. Feels a tad ti...

Hi, I think everyone can understand what you're asking, translation is very good. It may be that a lot of guys don't have this rod. Also it is a holiday. Happy New Year!!

Re: Which MB P5 rod excels at 1/2 oz chatterbaits

Not a MB rod, I have been using a Dobyns Extasy 7-5 Mag Hvy. It had too much tip for bottom contact [mho] but it really worked well for chatterbaits, plenty of tip and a real good backbone. Been using a SV103 7.9 with 20 floro, also works really well with braid, you can feel everything.

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000

Have the Tackle Trap presales started shipping yet? Yes. They have shipped out in the order they were received. TT didn't get the expected allotment from Daiwa on the first go around so some orders will be filled on the second round. The website is updated with that information and a post was made ...

Re: Kistler rods?

Looks like what Trey told told me in an email may be comming soon. Everything is on closeout over there. Not a first, but it seems more of an inventory blow out than previous sales. He told me in am email that he was addressing the handle builds on his rods. Let's hope we see some sweet carbon fibe...

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000

Got my pre-order in at TTT. I think I'm going to have to spend some of my stimulus money there also... President's orders right? Looks like the USDM Version has a darker handle as well. I think I prefer the silver handle. Oh well. I hope I can swap in a Zillion Type R Drag Star for some contrast. D...

Re: ZBone General purpose spinning rod

I have several H3's and they are fine rods, BUT, the new Z-Bone is a big step up. I don't think you will be disappointed. :big grin:
