I hope something worth collecting to commemorate 100 years :)
a new 100 sized Low Profile BC perhaps ?
Bring back the Core 50!
They will just ruin the heritage name like they have done to most of them. Since the Core was the USDM Aldebaran.

But that is too new yet, and have only used it a few times. But have changed tons of gear sets on Ks, Aldes, Mets with MM ...

Shimano Curado 50E. Small, built well, great braking system, good drag, holds plenty of line, killer paint job, and a ton of options to mod. Oh, and I have one.

Re: Kistler Reels

looks identical to the BPS Bionic Plus which is a chineasium SVS brake system Could be. If Kistler produces a schematic then we'll see for sure. BPS shows one for the Bionic. The brake assembly looks way different based on a review photo. Anyway, it seems odd that BPS would allow a potential compet...

They may be good, they may not be. More than likely a Banax design. But I wanted to chime in with a  , for all the Daiwa/Shimano superior guys. Doyo makes a fine product, and they also make some not so. But hey, so does Daiwa and Shimano. Ill take my BPS JM Platinum Signature reel over a Curad...

Re: For Reel Gurus

15 and 17 Scorpions are based on the "i" series reels by Shimano. The 15 being the regular braking system, and the 17 being the DC (Digital Control) braking system. The 19 is based on the "k" series reels, which is what is currently being produced.

Re: Struggling on Which Reel

You are gonna hold more line on the Scorpion than you are the Curado. If you are using thin lines, and light baits...Curado. Otherwise, go for the Scorpion.
