Re: Relaxing/Rounding Out Cork Handles?

Since it's the rod butt, you could easily replace it with another butt from one of the rod building companies. Just cut this one off. Clean the blank and epoxy another butt of your choice on it.

Re: Bustin out the oldies

To me - the oldies is something from the early 90's or before.
Like an old school bantam or daiwa procaster.

Re: Stradic CI4+ on clearnce...new model coming?

I can't see shimano getting rid of the stradic CI4+.
Its such a good seller for them. Its a great reel with a following. Thats money for shimano's pockets.

Re: Confirmed new Nrx coming out !!

Finally.
Now I will have to wait no more.
I've held off buying any nrx because of the ugly blue wrappings.
Depending on how they look, my bank account might be hurting.

Re: Calcutta Conquest 100

The conquest 100 is a very nice reel. But for the money it should be.
I biggest complaint is the short handles. I change mine out for longer ones.
The reels are very smooth and make great cranking reels. I use mine for crankbaits and spinnerbaits.

Re: Handle for ‘15 Aldebaran

Do can also contact shimano.
Most of the handles from the current models will fit the aldebaran.
They are all swept handles now and use the 7x4 mm handle shaft opening.
Just remember to get the plastic nut cap cover to go with whichever handle you get because sometimes they don't interchange.

Re: Stradic 1000HGFK retrieve speed?

The spool from the 1000FK will not work on the stradic 1000MgFB. The spool will bottom out and scrape against the rotor. Plus the spool will be wobbly since the Fk spool is designed for a bearing on the shaft, which the MgFB doesn't have. 1000FK spool lip is about 42mm. 1000MgFB spool lip is about 3...

Re: Shimano Bantam USDM vs JDM

I have a US version in the HG and JDM version in the PG.
Could just be my particular reels but the HG has more play in the handle than the PG.
On another note the HG feels smoother on the retreive than the PG.

Re: New Poison Adrena

I own the old model PA 6'10 med light, 6'10 med, 6'10 med hvy, 7'2 med, 7'2 med hvy. New model 7'2 hvy, 7'3" med hvy. Expride 6'10 med, 7'2 med light+, 7'2 med hvy. I feel the PA's are more sensitive than the exprides. Even the old models feel more sensitive than the exprides. Not that the exprides ...

Re: 2020 Zodias rod with carbon monocoque grip

Why all the red????
I wish they would have made it all black. Or maybe with a little silver accent.
Too much red for my liking.
The new design looks kinda like my first generation poison adrenas, but with alot more red.
