Re: Prespawn smallies on Lake Erie
Great job on those jerkbaits. Not much luck on Lake St. Clair yet. Water is very cloudy still. Congrats on those monsters.

Re: MB FX Knuckle
I've got three and caught one small smallie on it. I caught it on the pumpkinseed color. It's a pretty sweet little squarebill.

Re: MB f4-610GT3 purple dragon
I'm not even sure where you could find one... :-k These older rods from the Megabass are real classics and have a lot more of a Megabass feel to it then the new ones you see today. The new ones will probably have better sensitivity and actions due to advancements in blank technology but that's all ...

MB f4-610GT3 purple dragon
Looking to get some info on this rod for cranks. Weight, how it fishes, casting distance and actual lure weight range. It looks super cool and I did read the 2006 TT review, but wanted to know first hand. And if the newer tomahawks are better. Thanks for any info provided.

Re: Megabass hits bassmaster.com
They may be going main stream, but it seems they have select lure colors and select rods for mainstream. I believe there high end stuff will still be hard to get mainstream. A buddy who works at BPS said that there only getting select colors of lures. And didn't care for what they would be carrying....

Re: Calcutta te 100dc
Well I've had the opportunity to use my 100dc and it is all you guys said it was. I could only use it on very windy days, but it still did great even with 1/4oz c-flash hound dogs. I was casting into a strong head wind and I had only a few backlashes. I did have to have the cast control set to max a...

Re: megabass black elseil
I've had mine for only a couple weeks and used it for small cranks and c rig. I haven't tied any jerks to it yet. I don't really like a 7ft rod for jerks personally. And I have the f4-65x4 one ten stick for jerks and it worked them wonderfully. The BE is labeled as a very versatile rod and jerkbaits...

Re: Any Cure for The Dark Side?
Holy smokes, that rod is as powerful as my musky rods. I'd put my Shimano tranx 500pg on that thing lol. No but seriously that's a really nice rod. Can't get over the 8oz max rating, and the low end at 1/2oz. Thanks you guys for the heads up on this monster. I was looking at it but was thinksing its...

Re: Any Cure for The Dark Side?
All these stories are so good and really hit the heart. I come to this thread more than any now. The dark side really isn't so dark. It's an outlet to happiness within. Like spooky bait said, I too look at my gear and get a smile and warm feeling inside. And no one else can even relate except my son...

I believe I read that the old 50 is the size of the 100d. I have the 400d USDM for musky and its very cool.

Re: Any Cure for The Dark Side?
YES there is a cure or at least a balancer = it's called PERSPECTIVE- but it must by YOUR perspective not the personal irrational ego perspective of some other clown on this forum who has no good sense and has no real interest in you personally but still wishes to splash that nonsense upon you. It ...

Not going to take any chances and just re spool. I've done braid with no problems. Thanks for the clarification.
