Re: sv spool problems
I should be able to do it..... I would like to be able to use the reel this weekend for a tournament. So hopefully i can take a look at directions or a video and see how hard it is. It’s pretty straight forward. The c clip is a pain, but other than that, it’s not bad. My advice is do it inside of a...

Re: Daiwa spool tension problem
IF that's your issue, yes it's fixable if you know what you're doing. You'll need to take the spool apart to repair it. If you aren't comfortable doing that, just send it to The tackle trap or ian shields to repair it. It's a very "easy" fix but it's a bit precise if that makes sense. You don't rea...

Re: sv spool problems
Broken inductor base. I’ve swapped a bunch of them. If you look at the spool from the bearing side, you should see two white “clips” stick through. Chances are you won’t, and that’s the issue. When those break, the entire inductor, base and all, spins on the spool. yes I believe this is the problem...

sv spool problems
I was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. I have a Sv zillion spool that the brakes no longer work on. I am sure it is because that part of the spool is slipping under braking pressure . Can someone advise or point me in the right direction. thank you

Re: What jig trailer for slowest fall?
The most buoyant plastic and the bigger the trailer will slow the fall. The Zman elaztech is very buoyant. Also trailers with out salt will fall slower.I believe Zoom trailers float as well.

Re: Strike King Red Eye Shad Tungsten 2 Tap vs regulaR Red Eye
This item is made to be different to show (with a different sound) the fish something different. I have been fishing on area loaded with fish catching them on the regular red eye shad then when the bite slows down I make a switch to the two tap and show them something different and continue to catch...

Re: Tatula original vs. Cronos vs. Tatula Elite 7'6" ML
if you like to fish a hair jig the Cronos is a great rod for that. has great tip and with the right line and sized reel can cast a very light hair 3/32 or smaller jig further then most. has some strong backbone after the first 4 guides or so more on the medium side.
