Re: Raid Japan Rods
I have a Gladiator Anti Frogman. It’s pretty sweet just idk what to do with it I was looking for some more info about the Anti Frogman. Whats your thoughts about? It's a fantastic rod in my opinion, very nimble and user friendly. I've mainly used mine for more compact frogs weighing 1/2oz or less. ...

Re: Longer, high end, versatile rod suggestions?
Interesting suggestions, I'll need to look into these. I had briefly considered an X7 Western Flip but I'm afraid it may be just a bit lighter power than what I'm looking for

Longer, high end, versatile rod suggestions?
Honestly, I’m not big on longer rods, but I’ve found having one longer, versatile rod in my arsenal is pretty useful. For the last several years, a first generation Orochi XX EMTF has been what I’ve used. It’s been a great rod but I’ve been getting the itch to bump up to something a little more high...

Re: Fun new EG rods and other goodies
I’ve been thinking that myself. Something in the M+ to MH+ range would be amazing

Re: Fun new EG rods and other goodies
Great reading. No doubt that the GT3 will be wildly popular but I’m not interested in a softer tip GT2 myself and adding M40X only to the back end of the rod isn’t enough for me to offset the switch to SS guides in the tip/berry section. I get the cast feel argument but it’s also been extremely dif...

Re: Fun new EG rods and other goodies
The firesword looks like an awesome crankbait stick, wonder if its more a finesse cranker or 3/8 1/2 cranking stick. What role does the super stallion fill in their lineup? Is it an allaround XH ? I see its rated as MH but up to 3oz. Here’s a little more info on that one https://www.evergreen-fishi...

Anyone end up getting the RVⅡ-S78ML+? Thinking about getting this rod, or perhaps a Daiwa Steez AGS "The One"

Daiwa Saltist TW PE Special
Anybody have one or thinking about getting one? Looks like the 100xh could be a nice frog/light punch reel despite its saltwater pedigree. Or is it just a tatula with come pretty color?

Re: Evergreen Spider Spin
Looking forward to hearing more about how the rod performs. I don’t use spinning rods a lot, but was considering the spider spin as an upgrade to my current all around spinning rod. (First gen addermine) Have you mounted a reel on it yet? Thinking whether a 2500 or 3000 may be a better fit I think t...

Re: Jackall Revoltage
Just use Buyee to buy the rod from Japanese online vendors. The rod is only 30000 yen and Buyee had a promotion for Free internation shipping. I got my Rvii-71h-st for only 31000 yens. It is 15000 yens cheaper than Jdm heaven. I had seen that free shipping promo for buyee but thought it was only fo...

Re: Jackall Revoltage
Anybody picked up a C66M+? Pretty close to pulling the trigger on this one. Thinking it will be a nice river rod for tubes, hulagrubs, and other finesse plastics/jigs
