Re: All new steez sv tw
Mine is going on the limited US release 7'3" Real Control rod. Nice! Hadn't heard they were bringing any over. I don't see them on the website I ordered the new Steez last night. New frame, new spool(boost is new for me). I became interested, haven't bought a Daiwa since the Morethan PE TW....

Re: Daiwa Steez AGS 7'3" Medium Heavy Utility Player
I love mine for just about everything!
I just wish they made it in a 7-00.
Yeah I know it's only 3 inches but I really need one in that length. It would be a little easier to fish around all the cypress trees down here in Louisiana!

Re: Steez 103 original
Update on a frog reel
I got a great deal on a New old stock Daiwa Zillon-TWS 100 HS 7.1 $199.00 so I could not pass it up. I had one before but sold it to get another Steez . So now I'm good for froggin.

Re: Steez 103 original
Heavy cover frogging or open water/sparse cover? Both As much as I dig the OG Steez 103/105, it ain't meant for froggin' in any gear ratio...least not for any enduring period of time without incurring significant wear and tear. If you want a reel from this era, the TD Fuego, OG Zillion will likely ...

Steez 103 original
It's 6.3. Do you think it would be a good reel for frogs?

Re: Daiwa Steez A 100
Is this a new reel or just the JDM Steez A II brought over to the US market? There's another post on the Enthusiast forum as well...I haven't looked up the line capacity, but the fellas at THUT says the USDM has more line capacity. I'm wondering if it's a 36 mm spool. http://www.tackletour.net/view...

Daiwa Steez A 100
I see Daiwa put the new Steez A 100 on their site. I'm guessing the only difference is the gear ratio. No 6.3.

Re: Tatula Signature Series
They dropped the 2023 updates today https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLd3xpQDsB0axsPwm5Q_7aeUELAnU1mfq I seen those rods months ago when I asked my local rep to confirm them. He did say he wasn't sure if they were coming out before or at the classic. Now we know. I look forward to the new ree...
