Re: Website conection not secure
Use a specific password for TT, and don’t add any personal info onto the site. That way if you do get hacked(doubt there’s much chance of that anyways) they wont be able to use your password anywhere else. A lot of forums are set up this way, and not much risk. I guess they could start posting as yo...

Good review, and looks like you guys had a fun day. Check your pluses and minuses columns though, wrong lure.

Re: The Yeti Panga 28 Backpack - A Waterproof Fortress for all Your Outdoor Gear
Yeti used to include a small tube of some silicone type grease, and that stuff made it really easy to open, very slick. Then they changed to the chapstick stuff and it does lube it some, but no where as slick as the other stuff. I’m sure Yeti had a reason to change, but the old tube could definitely...

I want to see you guys set the drags to those stated numbers and try to crank through that pressure. Bet those reels don’t last long. Those numbers are pure marketing. Never needed more than 10lbs of pressure, and we all know those drag numbers are ridiculous in a low profile baitcaster.

Re: TackleTour Exclusive: On the Water with the New G.Loomis Conquest Rod Series
Cal - Would you describe the blanks as having the familiar feel and look as the JDM Shimano / Jackall rods, with tapers and powers more in line with typical Shimano USDM rods? The tapers are all G.Loomis MBR/SJR ... the blanks are similar in appearance to the Shimano sticks because they're using Sh...

Re: TackleTour Exclusive: On the Water with the New G.Loomis Conquest Rod Series
10% lighter than NRX, yet the 783 weighs the same as my 843NRX?? A 10% reduction of weight from the NRX 843 would put the Conquest 843 at under 100grams. That's a big reduction, and if that's the case, can't wait to get one in my hands. Seems like it's probably just marketing though.

Re: Shimano Continues Their Roll : Chronarch CI4+
Excellent review Cal. This reel just flat out performs. Been fishing my Hg very hard inshore catching huge redfish and it still feels like new after all the punishment. Been using these more than my Metaniums I like them so much. The light weight while still having brass gears is awesome. Try one on...

Re: The Best of Both Worlds – The Shimano/Jackall Poison Adr
sic makes guides now? Who knew? :D two handed casting is certainly possible Geez I would hope so  Looking at that tiny grip and super short handle... I couldnt imagine buying this rod for crankbaits. But it does look like it was tailor made for jerkbaits/ripbaits. Not sure what to make of this...

Any idea what was causing the handle problem on the Aldebaran BFS? Seems like a strange problem as there aren't many things that would cause this

Re: Silent but Deadly: The Molix SB Crank 55 Silent
Great review of a unique lure. That red craw looks great.Quality stock hooks and tough paint is definately a plus. As my username suggests, Im always on the lookout for new/unique cranks and the body shape is different for sure. Might want to change the depth rating though unless it does run down to ...
