Re: Whats the Point
Guys I am really sorry about not having your questions answered. We lost the person at our company that was answering the questions but that was not his only duty. He also worked in customer service. We are super busy with repairs currently and do not have a spare person right now who will be able t...

Re: confusion about 2500-size spinning reels
Hi, This is true not only in the Ballistic and Procyon models but also in the Lexa, Exceler and Legalis spinning reels. The 3000 has been redesigned with a larger body. The body size for the 2500 hasn't changed that much. It might be a tad smaller in the Procyon to keep weight down but checking the ...

At the moment I don't have that information. They will usually provide that information to us around the ICAST show.

I can't say yes or no at this point. They have not released that information to us. They usually let us know around the time of the ICAST show. Hopefully I will have more information for you around that time.

Re: Daiwa Certate 2506 Hi Speed-Bail Operation
What tends to cause that is opening the bail next to where the trip lever is located. It takes more force to close the bail at this point because you have not built up momentum for the bail to trip. The best way to describe this is when going over a speed bump, if you stop at the base of the bump it...

I don't think we will be releasing any information on new products at the Classic. Usually we do all of our new releases at the ICAST show in July.

Re: Steez XBD Frog Rod
The Steez XBD rods we have in stock measure 15 inches from the locking nut to the butt cap. These are frogging rods so the handles are not going to be that long. Your rod could be a prototype he was testing before we came out with the final product. We do not have a rod that matches that spec. The o...

Re: Daiwa spinning reel sizing for rods
Hi, We have our reels rated for fresh and saltwater to better help with making a reel selection for a rod. A 7 foot medium light rod will work good with either a 2000 or 2500. Depending on the rod the 2500 might balance better then a 2000. My personal preference on my 7 foot medium light rods is a 2...

Hi,
The spool will work, but if it has line on it the line will be comig off the bottom. You would have to let the line out then wind it back on the spool. I do apologize for the late reply.

Re: Steez tip
Hi,
I don't have the specific size tip that goes on this rod. I do know it is a Fuji Titanium framed SiC guide. If you can give me a call at 800-736-4653 x6740 I will get another tip top guide mailed out to you. I do apologize for the late reply.

Hi,
I have not heard or have any information on a new Zillion. This is the first time I have heard about this gear ratio. Where did you see this picture? I do apologize for the late reply.

Re: rationale for different casting handles on '14 zillion r
I do apologize for the late reply. I was talking with the R&D department and the reason for using the different reels seats had to do with the thickness of the blanks. There is a thickness difference in all the models and one reel seat did not fit.

Re: How to find out JDM, US or perhaps EU version?
I do apologize for the late response. We carried a T3 Ballistic here in the US. I am not sure if there is a difference between the US version and T3 Ballistic models carried by the other Daiwa's. If it was bought in Sweden you will have to contact one of the Daiwa's in Europe. I don't know which one...

I do apologize for the late response. Right now the only break dials we have that fit the Tatula are the Red or the Gold ones.
