Addermine gone?
Anyone know why the Addermine is no longer listed on TW? Are they discontinuing it? I would understand if current conditions had them out of stock for a long time, but the rod is no longer even listed...

Steez AGS Drop Shot Rod

I do like my ds rods a hair more powerful, which pretty much means no noodles. I am currently running an NRX 822 ds...

Megabass flat side. Have one for 1/2oz spinnerbaits and one for 3/8oz bladed jigs. Works like a charm for both

Re: Jig/Frog Rod for Bank Fishing
Zilla for me. Rod loads a little deeper than the PP, so it should hold fish a little better. Ive got two, one for frogs and one for 3/8oz swim jigs, and could not be happier. Zilla? Alpha Angler Zilla. That and the gen 1 XX EMTF are far and away my favorite "utility rods". Not much you cant do with...

For those of you that have the previous generation 7'3 H and are saying it could be too fast, are you using braid or fluoro with it? Or both?

TT should do a 1 day contest with users guessing the price. Correct price picks go into a hat and get a prize. Let's look at some numbers, Diawa Retail vs. TW Retail: For the sake of comparison lets assume the exchange rate is $1=100Y and I will ballpark my %. Steez A: 46400 Y vs $499 (+7%) Steez S...

Re: Looking for a MH Spinning Rod w/ Moderate Action...
If you have never ordered a custom rod, I’d highly recommend calling Thorne Brothers in Blaine, Mn and ask to talk to Lonnie. He builds rods for a living instead of a hobby and knows his stuff. He’s also a big time fisherman so if you tell him what you’ll be using it for, he’ll know exactly what bl...

Agreed, most factory spinning rods are in the generic spinning rod power/actionsHobeyBaker wrote:You'll be hard pressed to find this in a factory rod. My recommendation would be to get a custom rod built with a St Croix blank.
