So the sunburst knobs come with caps? I ordered a set and digitaka was out of knob caps.

Interesting to see those bearings in salt, I use ceramic RC bearings and corrosion x because I'm too cheap to use hedgehog stuff in the salt

I don’t have problem with DC whine at all, it is way better than that orange bearing that make my reel sound like broken reel both when cast and fighting a fish. If DC annoyed you then use the reel for slower technique that you don’t have to cast often enough. Which defeats the purpose of a 8.0:1 g...

Does anyone actually have one of these rods, I see the blank manufacturer is not listed like the other rod series and was curious if its worth buying, for some reason this rod calls to me.

On sale for 25th anniversary I think, but since the zbone has the same blank as the helium it doesn't have the same alure to me anymore.

The ones I saw with us made blanks were the nitritanium and the salt series which is odd because I would think as cheap as they were compared to say a klx I'm surprised they have a US blank.

I see Kistler has several rods now with US made blanks, I wonder if they are back using NFC blanks or have someone new?

I have a whole crew, we frequently rent a house for a week and fish the big bend of Florida and take 3 or 4 boats. I do like to take my dad when I can and my wife will go some though she requires a more pampered trip. I will fish lake blackshear or farm ponds by myself.
