Re: Looking for help on NRX + 873
I wonder, would adding this balance kit void the warranty?

Re: Loomis NRX users: please help a guy out...
I have all of the NRX+'s that you mention, and for 1/2-5/8oz drop shot in current, hands down 872S. One of the best rods of all time for smallmouth. Honorable mentions go to the 902S, or possibly a Conquest 902S for deep dropshotting, however I know some folks don't like the more moderate taper that...

](*,) I was waiting for the dobyns suggestions to roll in. I could feel it coming. I am with ya. Not a fan. I own 4 Xtasy rods that I have been using for 2 years and have zero complaints. Great hardware, balance, sensitivity and warranty. I'm not implying they're the best, but they're certain...

Re: High end 7'6 rods- NRX+ 902 vs the Steez 7'6 AGS "the one"
My vote is for the Steez AGS 76MML the one. There’s a reason they call it the one. Amazing rod in so many uses for finesse fishing. I have 2 I like it that much. It handles giant smallmouth 6+ lbs and keeps em pinned. It has a fast flexible tip and good backbone. Under load the rod does bend deep i...

Re: LTB Topwater Rod Need suggestions
MB P5 Madbull is a fantastic top water rod for 1/2-1oz. Great for shower blows 105 and 125, and used it for diamantés and did really well. I also tried the MB popmax (1/2oz) and did well for that too.

Re: A list of great spool swaps
2 spools impressed me and I use these in my Steez SV TW, Zillion SV TW, and all T3 variants, instead of original SV spools. ZPI NRC M and Daiwa SLP Works RCS Magforce-Z 1012 G1, both are really longcasting, easy to handle spools. 1012 G1 somehow casts better compare to 1016 G1. https://fish-aaa1.kx...

Re: Has everyone forgot the Shimano Chronarch is even a thing?
To answer the OP's title question, Yes. The chronarch is forgotton because it's a plastic reel in that mid range price category and folks just want metal. plain and simple. No matter how you try to market the plastic by calling it Ci4+, it's still plastic/carbon and perceived as being cheap. Not to ...

Re: 2021 steez ags rods
Has anyone got some considerable time on the water with the 79H power versatile and the 74XH? I am considering between the 79H or the 74XH, or if cash allowing, possibly getting both. I’m looking to use it for flipping 1/2-3/4 jigs and T rigs with braid, and also bigger wake baits, buzzbaits, and 6”...

Re: Credit Card Compromised at TackleWarehouse
Yep, I got my CC compromised as well. I made a TW purchase on Nov.23, and got a text msg on Nov.26 from my CC company indicating a $700+ fraudulent purchase was attempted at amazon. The CC company detected it right away which I'm grateful for, but this has me concerned going forward. Going to have t...

Re: 2021 steez ags rods
I'm looking for a versatile drop shot / ned rig rod, and i'm considering the AGS 7'1ML and the Megabass Landsat. Has anyone spent any significant time on the water with the new AGS 7'1ML and also fished the Landsat and/or Whipsnake for comparison? Is the AGS sensitivity comparable to an NRX? I have...

Re: Help me decide
Are you actually getting email responses from Kazu? I remember about a year ago I emailed him several times and got no response. Thought maybe he disappeared off the face of the earth. I have bought several rods from him in the past with great experiences but no more now.
