Does 13 make some of the Gander reels? If so which ones? Does the trick shop parts interchange with these reels too?

Does these reels hold up in saltwater? Is there an inshore version?

I agree break down clean, flush, and relube. They over grease these reels from factories. Also check brake area.

I hate these high speed reels.

I really want to try one of these reels. I was hoping I could test one on the winter/spring hybrids and stripers.

I learned the hard way about oiling brake area. A bait caster should have noise when brakes are working properly. Same with bearings. They come over greased from the factory and need flushing. Then light oil. There is a learning curve with the new braking system. Especially when changing baits.

It's a shame for such a great company. They have been great for many years. The competition gonna take advantage of this. I am talking to my local shop now to try to get them to carry your products. PM me contact info or a distributer in the South Ga area. Can he go directly through you? I also have a couple other shops in mind. Is there a minimum first order?

I am right handed and live in the US. I can fish both ways. I prefer a left handed bait caster as it makes you a better fisherman and is a true righty reel. I don't know a single lefty who fishes a lefty reel. I will test those reels if needed let me know.
