Gander reels
Does 13 make some of the Gander reels? If so which ones? Does the trick shop parts interchange with these reels too?

Re: Curado I noise
I agree break down clean, flush, and relube. They over grease these reels from factories. Also check brake area.

Re: Left Handed Concept Reels
I really want to try one of these reels. I was hoping I could test one on the winter/spring hybrids and stripers.

Re: Curado 200I Casting Help.
I learned the hard way about oiling brake area. A bait caster should have noise when brakes are working properly. Same with bearings. They come over greased from the factory and need flushing. Then light oil. There is a learning curve with the new braking system. Especially when changing baits.

Re: new one year rod warranty
It's a shame for such a great company. They have been great for many years. The competition gonna take advantage of this. I'm a long time Shimano man, but will be the first to say that this is a slap in the face to true Shimano supporters. The only rod I had a shimano claim on was chipped when I bou...

Re: Please tell me a lefty Curado I for cranking is coming
These are all reels over the $200 mark, make one in the reasonable range under $200 or as stated above discount the Chronarch which I still am not wild about.Bantam1 wrote:The Calcutta D and Conquest both have X-Ship.

Re: Please tell me a lefty Curado I for cranking is coming
I have always used a 5 speed for my worming reel. To keep my presentation slow. I do own the d series curados and also use the calcutta, but would rather have the new curado. I don't think anyone is bashing Bantam, they are stating facts. What is called a left handed reel is really a true righty. Ve...

Shimbindo returns on the CU I. What's up with this? If it is a an useless , ignorant statement keep it to yourself! I am talking to my local shop now to try to get them to carry your products. PM me contact info or a distributer in the South Ga area. Can he go directly through you? I also have a couple other shops in mind. Is there a minimum first order?

Re: Lefty Bonus?
I am right handed and live in the US. I can fish both ways. I prefer a left handed bait caster as it makes you a better fisherman and is a true righty reel. I don't know a single lefty who fishes a lefty reel. I will test those reels if needed let me know.

Re: Curado I Bushing Upgrade ?
How would this make this reel more functional? I agree it adds weight and weak point for trash and corrosion.Jayce wrote:KnowledgeCrappielimits wrote:What do you gain from this?Jayce wrote:Thanx for the replies.
Was able to get the info from a good reel tinkerer and now my new curado i has a bearing supported worm gear.
