Re: Stradic FL

Flats wading

How do people go about carrying a second outfit while wading the salt flats. Want to carry another outfit for those days when a second style of rod/reel combo will be handy. Needs to be easily accessible, tuck out of the way and not allow the rod to flap around. Thanks.

Re: Eliminating Backlash on Strong Casts

Here is what you do.........pull off about 20ft more line than what you expect to cast when you add a little zip to your casting motion.........then put about a 2" piece of electrical tape on the spool........wind the line back on........you should not have this issue again. What happens when a fis...

Re: Daiwa reels - gaudy or sexy?

Lol...this is TT. There's threads dedicated to showing off "gaudy" reels. If you want plain jane looking stuff, Amazon has that. Lol... there are threads for lots of things. It doesn't mean they represent the most popular opinions. I will say though that it seems like there is a lot of flashy Daiwa...

Re: Daiwa reels - gaudy or sexy?

Not overly fussed with the flash colour schemes myself, but, I would be happier if the colours were at least consistent across SLP, Daiwa, RCS etc.

freelancer27, we usually are using frogs with either double hooks or large soft plastics with big single hooks.
