Met DC USDM???
I heard feom other posts and videos from youtubers that there might be a US version of the Metanium DC using the I DC5. Can anyone confirme this? Reason I m asking is because I find it weird that Shimano would push out 2 DC reels in the same season.
Curado DC
Not sure why no one posted this gem yet so i ll do so. This new Curado DC will be available in the 150size and priced 249.99$ US. The jdm version is the Scorpion DC if im not wrong.

Re: Reviews out on new 2018 Ryoga?
*side note- I wonder if this will be the reel that ushers in micro gears for Daiwa reels. I bet we see em on the next Zillions... ;) I really hope the daiwa micro gear stays exclusive in the high end reels. Altho I might sound a bit selfish, I just cant see the reason to buy highend daiwa reels whe...

Not my video but I figured it might help you to compare size. Not a "on the water" test but an unboxing and inital impression of the reel.

Re: Need help to buy reel! Cant decide.
unfortunately not. I know its a very nice reel but I dont know where to look for them anymore. Also, the conquest dc is nice to throw heavier lures but will probably fail me with lighter onesmhood wrote:Have you considered the Conquest/Calcutta DC100?

Re: Need help to buy reel! Cant decide.
Jigs are usually fished on faster gear ratios & swimbaits usually slower reels. As for round vs low pro, you can fish anything on either though I think you'll find the lo pro better suited fishing jigs & round reel better suited for moving baits. I would decide what you lure(s) you want to use the ...

Re: Another comparison reel post... sort of..
Theyre all good reels so you ll be happy with either ones. I havent tried the MGLs but I do own a few Steez and tried the MET DC. The Steez SV is by far the best reel Ive ever casted. Its hard to backlash, casts like a dream and all the way from america to asia. You can even spool lighter line and g...

Re: Whats your smoothest reel
Personally, which ever reel has no gear (handle) play is the smoothest and highest quality reel. As such, within the reel I have tried and own, the new Steez A TWS is the smoothest reel I've ever tried. Next is the Antares DC 16 which has minimum gear play.

Question; Antares DC bearring upgrades?
So I just ordered an Antares DC 16 and I was wondering if hedgehod studio bearrings or orange seal bearrings would make a difference in performance such as cast distance and backlashes. Also, anyone know if the handle knobs have bearrings?

Saltiga 3500 for freshwater?
So I was wondering, the new Saltiga spinning reel 2015 are coming out in the 3500 size which is about 4000 size in shimano. My question is, can I use this reel for freshwater tackle for bass or such? Or is it way too overkill and it'll rip that bass' mouth off? I initially plan on buying it for ligh...

Shimano Calais DC
So I've been looking at this reel for so long and I've been wanting one for so long! My question is, is this reel still the longest casting reel on the market or did it out performer by newer reel? I mean, calais dc is almost its 10 years anniversary and im pretty sure a new antarest dc is coming ou...
