Re: Poison Glorious vs Megabass Evoluzion 30th ltd
I have owned both, fished both for the exact purpose you're talking about. For me, I liked the Rushburn better. It gets the job done and more. I paired it with a Deps DR. The Mephisto was good, and is pretty darn versatile, but the c40 taper is pretty unique. I found the Rushburn taper to be a bit m...

Re: Is Shimano Playing us?
The other explanation is a simple one. Shimano USA = Line capacity is listed in yards Shimano Japan = Line capacity is listed in meters. Usually these line up to be about equal. Sometimes Shimano and Daiwa produce slightly different domestic (Japan) models vs what they ship over to the USA. This has...

Re: New Shimano x Jackall Poison Ultima & Glorious Rods
I don't recall seeing any of the following in the PG line up: 166 MH - Hyper WOLF - Bottom fishing powerful power versatile rod. It is a power versatile tire rod that improved jig, warming, spinnerbait, etc. freely, and improved coverage for cover & bottom games. We succeeded in weight reduction wh...

New Shimano x Jackall Poison Ultima & Glorious Rods
As I was looking through the Shimano Ultima website (http://fishing.shimano.co.jp/product/rod/3533) I noticed there were two new models listed. The 163MH and the 174MH-G. They are missing from the chart, but a bit of digging reveals we're getting two new Ultimas in April 2017 A bit of digging quickl...

Re: Squarebill Reel
I have used multiple reels for my squarebills, from my blocks to the AOI. I personally like the lower profile reels as I'm usually throwing small to mid sized squarebills, but no knock on the blocks (they have a spot for the rest of my cranks). I settled on the Metallic red PO paired with a GTZ Hein...

Re: Best aftermarket BFS spool?
I use and love both my ZPI CP301 spool and my Cosugi Works spool. Both are amazing, the ZPI has more control, while the Cosugi works is a distance machine.

Re: MB Destroyer F5 spinning rod
Haven't seen one. Always has been four spinning rods there. Are you talking about new Destroyers? http://www.megabass.co.jp/site/freshwater/the_all_new_destroyer/ Yup, there were always 4 rods. That's why when I saw a 5th, it caught my eye. I had a Onikirimaru for a while, sold it because I just fo...
