Re: No bliss with Gliss
Thanks for the write up. Looks like all of their marketing claims were just that, marketing claims. In the real world, looks lke this stuff won't be on the market long. I sure won't be trying any.

Re: Tatula Tactical vs other Tatula Models
> Well I noticed the 100mm handle and spool like in the Type R. Anything else Im missing? Little bit of a lighter spool and a larger handle. Matte black finish. Weighs in at the same weight to the original Tatula. You decide if it's worth the 50 plus dollar price jump. For me 200 bones for a Tatula ...

Re: Extra fast or fast?
I had that rod a year or so back and found the action to be a true extra fast. I personally am not a fan of extra fast action, but as long as you are not using braid you should be fine with Texas rigs. If you are using braid, there will be no give in either the rod or line, so you will miss the fis...

Re: Sealed cork handles. What product?
Guys its colored duck tape very effective I change it every season cork is still new like the day I bought it. How would you get oil on it ? When I work on the reel its off the rod . Trust me its an easy way to protect the cork,if that is what you are after, and if your rod as a full handle its eve...

Re: Sunglasses
I have both Oakley's and Costa. I won't touch my Oakley's again. They are reserved for my car when I forget to bring my Costas. I have both 580G's in blue and brown. I'm want a silver lens next. I can also say that I don't really love Oakley. They were what I originally thought about buying, but fo...

Re: Sunglasses
I have some Costa 580 green mirror lenses. I've never owned another brand, so I can't say they are any better than any others, but I do know they work exceptionally well for me. I farm and they have held up well to the dust and dirt that comes along with my job. I do have two small spots on the len...

Re: Sealed cork handles. What product?
I keep my rods original I cover the cork with a plastic sheeting wrapping it tight. Then I buy matching colored tape I don't know the name of it my daughter is always using for school projects. I wrap that on top of the clear sheeting. So if the rod has a red accent I use red and so on. I have rods...

Re: Gander mountain line
Just bought spool of 15 lb. I spooled it up and it seems kinda wirey, but I've really only ever fished Trilene XL nylon for the last 12 years. Diameter seems spot on for 15 lb though. I'll post my experience with the line after this weekend.

Re: NANOFIL HATERS
Would you say that NanoFil and FireLine have the same visibility as nylon monofilament? Are you using a leader for abrasion resistance or for invisibility or for other reasons when using NanoFil or FireLine?

I'd like to handle one of their HellBent Inshore Rods. For $70 they seem nice.

Re: The Worse ..........
Cotton Cordell Lures. Have an entire 360 box of them collecting dust. Any unscented plastic... And some Suffix Nylon line that was way to thick for my liking. Other than that can't say I've bought to much bad stuff.

Re: Gander mountain line
Any word on this? I might go pick up a spool today. Debating between this and Sunline Super FC Sniper. Price is good on the Gander Mt brand. I'm worried mostly about casting... That and knot strength.
