Re: Got my new eternity blanks
I’ve built on Rainshadow’s Eternity 10 blanks and think they are fantastic. I would put them in the same category as NFC’s HM or Xray blanks. The benefit for me with the Eternity 10 blanks is I’m not dealing with NFC’s lack of quality control. I’ve had numerous QC issues with Delta’s, IM’s, HM’s and...

No I sure don't... just basing it off the spreadsheet downloaded from Batson on the new blanks.... which includes CCS numbers

Re: X Ray MB-733
I'd be interested as well. I have the MB703 in IM and Delta series rods and it's interesting. I purchased it with the intent of making a dropshot rod. Tip is incredibly soft, but surprising amount of backbone. I taped up some guides and put a baitcaster on it and tossed a 3/8oz crankbait with it. I ...

Re: RodGeeks CARBON 4 SERIES - C4711XHF
Okay, that makes sense... looking at the SCV specs, I believe the Bass4 is more similar than the Carbon4. The Carbon4 just didn't seem up to my expectations. I didn't really examine the blank weight and butt diameter that closely and was more interested in the MF vs the F. Really appreciate the spec...

Re: RodGeeks CARBON 4 SERIES - C4711XHF
Oh wow... that's powerful. Could be it's a swimbait or muskie rod. They have their marketing wrong, as it lists the rod for flipping/pitching heavy cover.. lol
Would you happen to have RDA on NFC 809? How about the SWB806? I was also considering the SWB806.

RodGeeks CARBON 4 SERIES - C4711XHF
Checking to see if anyone has experience with this blank. I have built on the HMF which has a lure rating of 1/2 - 2oz. The XHF (same length) lure rating jumps up to 3-8oz, however the tip size is the same as the HMF and the butt diameter is only .620 in (.056" more than the HMF). To me it seems lik...

Re: MB663 (IM or HM)
Are you measuring butt diameter, tip size, and length to verify? Do you also have to load test to verify? I use the RDA measuring system. When I get power/action/weight numbers that don't jive with previous models I've measured, or don't make sense against the next model up or down, its a pretty su...

Re: MB663 (IM or HM)
but not sure if its a shelf blank from the xray or specific to Kistler. Kistler has many, if not all, proprietary blanks. Some of Kistler's blanks have no similar model in North Forks offering. I ordered and received a MB664 in the Delta series... I'm wondering if I received the wrong blank Unfortu...

Re: MB663 (IM or HM)
I am currently using a Kistler LMH which utilizes an xray blank. It's nearly perfect, but not sure if its a shelf blank from the xray or specific to Kistler. I could see it being a 3 powered NFC rod in SJ.... possibly 4 powered. it's more of an xf action.

Re: MB663 (IM or HM)
I ordered and received a MB664 in the Delta series... I'm wondering if I received the wrong blank or the Delta is that much more stout than the HM or IM. Something is off. I also ordered the 703/4/5 in IM with the recent 75% off sale just to see. I don't have experience with many of the NFC blanks a...

MB663 (IM or HM)
Anyone have experience with the MB663? Was thinking of grabbing two of them to make jerk bait rods. I recently ordered the 664 and it's way too powerful. Looking to build the rod for throwing the standard 110 sized jerk baits in 1/2oz size. Open to other blank recommendations as well. Already did a ...
