Was just trying to determine if my SX3600 had more IPT then my Luna 103 5:8-1. Which ever had the most IPT, not less then 25 was going on my Powell Max 703 glass rod for square bills.

What Diameter 10 or 12 lb test line are you using? Berkley 100% is .013 for 12 lb. and Invisx 15lb is .013 as is Red Label and Sniper 16lb is .013. I have been using Red label 15lb on my Ci4, and have no issues.

I still cannot give up my BCR803 very special rod.

I have both the 8:1 and 7:1 great reels for $100.00, and have not experienced and problems with them.

Bantam, I am pretty sure that my BCR854 says fast and not extra fast. This is an older rod with the recoil guides.

So if you were pitching a 3/8 oz jig with trailer which rod would work best 854 or 844?

I have a BCR854 line weight 14 - 20 lure weight 5/16 - 3/4 Also have a 844 line weight 12 - 20 lure weight 1/4 - 1 Both of these rods are classified as Heavy/Fast why so much difference? This also is the case for a BCR 853 vs 843, but can understand because the 853 is a Med. heavy/Extra Fast vs Fast...

Were these reels before or after the GT2000 series?

I really do need to take pictures for the insurance company when I do i will post them here. I am retiring at the end of January and can no longer buy rods and reels without selling some, but we will see.

I don't think I could ever get rid of them.
