Re: Casting that Screams: The Innovative Trika Ti100 Baitcaster

With how cheap and the advancements of production it's a wonder why other manufacturers have stood by aluminium and low grade stainless steel for these later years? The Stradic FB Ci4+ with the titanium bail wire and its possibly also used in the Fordvan F and later editions? Good to see it starting...

One thing I do is thread in a swivel onto the split rings as added weight. That way I'm not actually switching out the trebles.

It's been up and down for me too, sometimes even in the same session. Sometimes I'll get in and everything loads fast, other times it'll all be slow. Then other times some subforums load fast and others load slow.
This exactly 💯

Terribly slow this side of the pond, and logs you out every time even after selecting "remember me".

Re: A Masterpiece - Shimano's Metanium MGL 150B Baitcaster

Metanium 20 or Bantam MGL? I love my Bantam, but aside from the JDM PG model, I can't find one reason to choose it over the Metanium. The Metanium is essentially the same reel with a better spool and lighter package. Bantam has a metal clutch return leg though. What is that? This particular part is...

Re: A Masterpiece - Shimano's Metanium MGL 150B Baitcaster

Imagine how amazing it would be with the ported spool and the line guide as far forward as it could have been. DaveJ If it's got a thiner spool and it has a shaped line guide which it has - shouldn't be too much of an issue for the line to peel off / swing side to side easily enough. The guide coul...
