Re: Help w Evergeen Kaleido Inspirare RS/GT
As for the Cougar SFX Elite 7 I have the GT model. It’s the latest model I own and I must say it’s awesome. The GT model is an inch longer with a shorter handle which gives it more useable blank length than the RS. It also has the spineless blank technology which make any type of pitching skipping ...

Re: Vibrating Jig Question
They’re addicting once you get the hang of how to use them. Plus they produce bigger fish than many other baits, and you can fish them in the junk.

Re: Vibrating Jig Question
Ugly to you not the fish. Injured baitfish are an easy target. Full skirt gives the bait a bigger profile it might match the forage better the way it is. I thin out and shorten the skirt on almost all my jigs spinnerbait and chatters if I’m running a trailer. Too much skirt can also hinder the perfo...

Re: Your favorite Megabass series?
Easily the X7’s and arms, but The old XTI Evoluzions will always have a place in my heart. At one point I owned 31 Megabass rods. I like, and have kept a few rods from each series, but If I can only have one Megabass rod it would be the X4 Destruction. It’s the closest to a medium heavy technique do...

Re: New Poison Glorious
If you like the white falcon you should definitely check out the EG SFX Cougar elite 7. Performance wise I like it as much if not more. 8-) Thank you for your recommendation, Dom! In true TT fashion, I have one on the way from Kazumi and the good folks at JDMTH.com since the rod was in stock and an...

Re: New Poison Glorious
Those Seditions look deluxe, looks like I'm headed down another rabbit hole. Thank you Sir! They are without a doubt the best crankbait casting rods I have ever used! It's taken me two fishing seasons to finally acquire four of them for my two bass boats and I couldn't be more pleased! Good luck wi...

Re: Help w Evergeen Kaleido Inspirare RS/GT
Here’s a pic of the RSR, SSGT, and 7’4xh Steez. The Steez handle is actually shorter than the other 2 rods unfortunately. Probably won’t be a good choice since you don’t like the handle on the Steez. ;) A4B24243-6FF8-46AD-B069-0627EE42B1B8.jpeg Super awesome and helpful, thank you! I'm glad i've go...

Re: Jerkbait rod
Racing design 610ml+ shallow cover finesse, 6’9” EG stallion GT, or B69mh Luxxe Oltre. All 3 have fully supped up steezes. Whatever one is available at the time gets the Jerkbait tied on. All 3 are under 7’ and make working them great. Since the reels are customized I can cast as far as the amount o...

Re: Help w Evergeen Kaleido Inspirare RS/GT
I have 8 rods from the RS/GT line, and one of each model you listed. All of them are amazing. Typically due to the difference in the guide layout, and number of guides the RS models tend to be slightly faster. I have only fished the Stallion GT and RS models side by side. The GT was mine and RS bel...
