Re: Whats your favorite!!!
Cashion CRT. No frills but great rod for the coin. Very good sensitivity, I love the "true" fast taper and non parabolic blank of the 7' heavy, makes for an excellent jig rod.

Re: New reel: Shimano Flame
I am curious is the one based of the casitas the same material for the frame as the USDM casitas or is it aluminum? Based on the price I assume it is still the composite material.
I assume the one based 70 is aluminum just like the curado.

Re: Favorite Chatterbait
KaRu Vibrashock/Seibert Fogy. Split ring is a must on any chatterbait I throw, blade ticks the football head. Well made jigs by either company. I also like the Nutech crazy jigs. More subtle action than the Vibrashock, very weedless with the guards especially in timber.

The red was a good color, better than the sap green curadosLgMouthGambler wrote:Thank God they got rid of that ugly red color. I might have to actually add a Scorpion to my arsenal.

Re: Best 12-15" worm
Ok cool, thanks. I like that it doesn't fall over but how well does it impart action? Also the hook size? I was using 1/8oz 4/0 owner football shakey head and they rocked good. My only thing was I wanted a larger hook like a 5/0 or 6/0 and nichols makes it upto 8/0 on their screw ball. The other th...

Re: Best 12-15" worm
The other thing I haven't tried because I just haven't but it has crossed my mind is rigging a Missile baits Dstroyer up on a shakey head since the tomahawk did well. I been waiting for the babies to be born but apparently late august means sometime in october maybe

Re: Best 12-15" worm
I love fishing larger worms, so I thought I would revive this thread. I use the Gambler 10" and 13" ribbontail and the 9" ledge worms. Missile Tomahawk is my "finesse" ribbontail. I also have used the Deps deathadder 10" which has a massive body. I'll fish these texas rigged or shakey head. I am wo...

Re: Good trailer for swim jig?
Swim jigs I like the Gambler EZ swimmer or Fat Albert Grub. For Chatterbaits depending on how I am working them I go with a zoom fluke, Missile d-bomb trailer for the reason the fella mentioned they make their own comotion... or Gambler burner craw if I am popping it off the bottom(sometimes straigh...

Re: JDM Chatterbait
I am itching to get some of the jackall dera break. I haven't been able to locate any, seen the videos you tube. Have they been released yet? Or any one know an ETA? I been using either a nutech crazy jig or KaRu vibrashock in 3/8 oz. But these little jackalls in 1/8 oz and 1/4 oz really look cool a...
