Re: How Do You Keep Your Fishing Closet Organized?

I have all my combos on a rod rack. Only 10ish so not too many. All lures are grouped into size, weight and function and put into small Versus Meiho tackle boxes which fit perfectly into my into my Vanquest Javelin backpack. All jig heads in the small Versus Meiho terminal tackle boxes, and soft pla...

Re: BFS Fantasies do come true...

Hello my friend Rusty from the Commonwealth (I am Canadian). Hope that you are recovering nicely from the Brexit. See below pictures for side by side between the F2 Kirisame (on the left) and the X7 Super Criffhanger (on the right). The Kirisame blank is a lot slimmer, but hard to tell from the pic...

Re: BFS Fantasies do come true...

Hmmm... Good question. Didn't really occur to me, but I do hold the BFS rods like a fairy holding a wand. No issues palming with the Shimano BFS XG '16 on it. Happy to put it side-by-side with a Criffhanger if helpful for you (can take a picture and I have heard great things about the Shading X. Ou...

Re: BFS Fantasies do come true...

I can stomach the price tag. Not too sure the wife feels the same way. If I sell a few Steez's I can easily get one... Too bad the exchange rate sucks for Australians at the moment. I thought my Shading X and Super Criffhangers were the bees knees. That's why I have a second Shading X on its way fro...

Re: BFS Fantasies do come true...

How do you find the F2-63XK-S? I've always been curious about a solid blank. I have so many questions but don't know where to start!

I love BFS. It works perfectly for Australian river Bass, nearly all my gear is BFS or close to it. I was thinking of adding some kirisame bc rods

Re: Hook and weight box

I looked into these a little while ago, they look awesome. Though I think the shipping would have cost more than the actual boxes.

Daiwa Alphas Air is a great one to start with.

Re: 2016 Megabass Destroyers

I have the F1-60X Elese. I wish it had titanium guides. The ones on it are fine, but I'm just fussy. Build quality is immaculate, as to be expected. I have a PX-R on mine for top-water lures like Baby Pop-X's and Dog-X Jr's. http://i464.photobucket.com/albums/rr3/RustyMcFot/IMG_0923_zpsbtnmuiyh.jpg ...

Re: Trying to find F3-69X7 Super Eiger NOT 2015 model

Yeah mine is the original X7 model, which is specifically what I was after. The easier way to tell the difference and you can see just from photos alone, is the indent in the cork grip at the back of the trigger. The 2014 models have the circular indent, if this is the best way to describe it. Where...

Re: Trying to find F3-69X7 Super Eiger NOT 2015 model

Well it arrived today.. It was packed by the seller in a PVC tube before it even got to the Buyee warehouse. I think Buyee has become an evil addiction. Since buying the Super Eiger, I have bought two Steez 103H's, a Steez SV 6.3R and an IS73c. Just waiting for them all to arrive at the warehouse. I...

Re: Japan made braid

I don't know whether it's "the best" but I'm a fan of Sunline Super PE. It's great on all my baitcasters that use braid, and on my spinning reels I use 10lb Sunline Castaway.

I used to use an orange line called Basshard made by Line System. That was my favourite but I can't seem to find it anymore.

If it goes pear shaped it's always insured apparently.

Next time I'll ask for it to be repacked in a hard tube.

Re: Trying to find F3-69X7 Super Eiger NOT 2015 model

Mine is in Singapore.... Shouldn't be too much longer. I got a bit excited when I bought it through Buyee that I forgot to ask if it was going in a hard cardboard tube. When I sent an email yesterday to ask how it left, they said they can't confirm as it had already left. I hope it gets here ok. Roo...
