The handle knob needs to be replaced. Contact customer service for a replacement. 877-577-0600 The glue that holds the EVA to the post has lost contact or the EVA has torn slightly inside.

Unfortunately, based on your last reply, it looks like the Conquest has been designed for the opposite of the specific application you're looking for. I wish I could give you a definitive answer but there are some subtle variables possible. Like you suggested, maybe one sat longer. Maybe one was used for bombing a crankbait, generating lots of brake friction, while the other was used for short, underhand pitches, etc. Unfortunately, hard to say ex...

Hey Illinoisbassfishin- Bassmar is exactly right. The Curado's braking system does work really well, but requires a small amount of easy maintenance. I've attached a photo of the official instructions.

I can tell you that in particular, the Curado 70 and the Casitas do both use the same spool bearing Part #4343. Thanks for your question.

Yes, the two different tubes have the same dimensions so it should work fine for you. The only difference is that the one in the Curado is ARB and the Citica version is stainless steel. Thanks for your question!

Thanks arrowslinger1 and BARRAMANIAC! That is definitely a valid point. The bail can trip on a hard cast, sending your broke off lure into the lake or trees.

Yeah, that's definitely a little one. It looks like Fishingandfords had it right. It's a size 0 (zero) screwdriver that you'll need.
