Re: How are boga grips good?

Love my Boga grips. I have the 15lb model and it weighs in 1/4lb increments. You can generally eye it and tell if you are in between lines on the scale. We have always been very close to the exact weight keeping track on the water during a tourney and then seeing it on a scale. Within the range you...

How are boga grips good?

So I was wondering about this and I don't see how boga grips are really good for it's scale. The 30lb one weights in 1/2lb increments. To beat the world record it has to be 2 oz or more. The boga grips are not going to show you if you caught over 2 oz in some cases. I ask this because some people ar...

Re: Show off your bigbait setups!!!

The Huge Custom has a taper that is very particular. I like it and found it to be very efficient both in casting(depending on your casting stroke) and keeping fish hooked. With that said, I can understand your preference for any other rod. The HC tip seems to feel stressed at 4oz and feels the same...

Re: Show off your bigbait setups!!!

The 76RF is my favourite. Both of the H3S can go up to 10oz. but at some point becomes a risky game. I do have the Strong Mind that can cast up to 2Kg (70oz.). I have casted the Savage Heart Trout weighting at 24oz but is hard on you. On the contrary, 12oz on the Strong Mind is surprisingly easy. I...

Re: Show off your bigbait setups!!!

Which rod model do you have? I really like the H3S-76RF AND THE H3S-81RF The H2S-75RF is a completely different animal.... I'm using the 76rf. Thinking about getting another rod though. Something that would be better at tossing 8oz baits and higher. The 76RF is my favourite. Both of the H3S can go ...

Re: Decoy egg snaps questions???

I have been using these without problems: OWNER 5121 HYPER WELDED QUICK SNAP The issue I would have with those is the hooked bit of metal that sticks out. The reason I am into the Eggs is that they don't snag more then tying directly for mosts lures. It is nice that they don't snag on stuff as much...

Re: Decoy egg snaps questions???

I have been using these without problems: OWNER 5121 HYPER WELDED QUICK SNAP http://tackle4all.com/images/mso_5121.jpg I used to use the owner snaps with the rubber coating. They were my favorite but I can't find them anymore. So I decided to try the decoy egg snaps cause they had such good reviews.

Re: Decoy egg snaps questions???

I use them a lot, the smaller 1 and 1.5 for spoons and UL hardbaits and the 3 and 4 sizes for frogs and smaller glidebaits. The trick I have found with the smaller ones is that you have to pick and choose which lures you use them on, some lures will have a line tie that isn't suitable for them for ...

Decoy egg snaps questions???

So I've been using these egg snaps for about 2 months now. The smaller sized ones like the size 1 and 1.5 seem a little flimsy. Good at first but putting lures on is a pain. Taking them off is more of a pain. I found myself having to slightly bend them to take lures off. Anyways catching some fish o...

My other combo for the season.
This one will get a lot of use.

Roman Made Centurion Mind "Brea$t" (TT censored its name!)
Shimano Bantam with DRT 100mm Varial handle (yes, I paid MSRP! )

How's the Centurion rod? Never actually used one.
