Re: Zenaq Spirado Blackart B5-74

The rod is certainty worthy of a customized reel. That pairing is truly incredible Rise. Impressive indeed!

What engine plate is on that Zillion and where can I find one?
That’s the one that came on the SLP 8.1 ratio about 2-3 (or so) years back. Used ones can now be found on auctions at reasonable price. Parts only; I don’t know.

Re: Zenaq Spirado Blackart B5-74

I have been eye balling these for a long while and finally pulled the trigger. It helped that there is a US distributor now; thanks to Tomos Tackle. They are an offshore saltwater supplier, but gladly helped this freshwater fisherman. It feels like an extra heavy; it's med fast under about 4 lb loa...

Re: Shipping times nowadays

It is really frustrating when my all my orders from japan (ebay included) arrive faster than any US order. I am not sure wtf is going on at TW, but their shipping times are disasterous. The Japanese e-trailers ship one’s order immediately. Out the next day; sometimes same day. Unless you buy the mo...

Re: OSP

the other day i had a hook in my hand.. I contemplated this and that, eventually I just pulled it out with some stout pliers.. needless to say it felt better just being stuck in my hand .. that fish was put back in the water with an ear full Ouch. That sounds decidedly worse than my situation. I wa...

Re: OSP

I can't say enough good things about the OSP blitz. I found another advantage for those who don't mind light wire hooks when battling fish. Hard to see it in this photo, but the fish thrashed just as I lipped it and the rear treble went clear through in one hole and out another past the barb. It's ...

Crankbaitaddict is keeping me honest and I like that. Just posted some tackle, but let's not forget the main reason I'm out there every day....

Re: Slp g1 CT shallow spool in 2020

Anybody knows if you can you order Steez CT through SLPW semi order system?, I though they were going to do it but I don't see it being available anywhere and their website only has option for original steez sv tw semi-order. I recently saw on Instagram that slp has added the streez ct to their sem...

Re: New rod assistance

I have the 904 conquest and throw both of those lures on it. I run braid or braid to leader as well and have no issues. For true heavy cover or strictly frogging, I think the 905 would be a better choice because of the extra power. Disclaimer though, I prefer the mbr type actions like the 843 for t...

Re: It’s a sickness

Although I’ve learned that a good portion are made based on pre-order, I’d throw out Designo. I’ve been massively impressed with their rods and they were a pain to source. Another maker I’d suggest is Zenaq. I have yet to try one, which will be remedied, but all I’ve read about Zenaq has been except...

Re: OSP

If you’re not using Blitz Max DRs in summer, you’re missing out!! This is the first summer I’ve tried the shallow running OSP Blitz and Blitz max and all I can say is wow!! I have been missing out. All my little johns, etc, while fine baits, are on the back burner Indefinitely. Kind of put cranking...
