Re: NRX refresh ?

I understand that. I personally don't think Gloomis can make a wrong move because no matter what they do the NRX is the gold standard.

Re: NRX refresh ?

My only concern with the comments made by SteveSchmelzle is by adding a full handle grip you are you adding more weight and requiring Gloomis to have to finish the blank to add the rod specs because the full grip wont provide the split grip area thus dampening the sensitivity. Kistler has done a goo...

Re: NRX refresh ?

I can't wait! If I had a say into what Gloomis I would hope they move to torzite like the K2 and St Croix LE. (A lot of people will disagree with this upcoming statement but oh well..) I pray that Gloomis removes all cork and uses a proprietary handle like Zbones. I can't stand cork. I have tried ev...

Re: Zbone 4 power

Just some background info. I have a 3 power NRX and 4 power NRX and would love to have a rod in between the NRX 3 and 4 power (maybe slightly more toward the 4 power but not all the way), but I've heard Kistlers 5 is similar to a 4 power NRX. However, I will mostly use it for 3/8 to 5/8 oz jigs in m...

Zbone 4 or 5 Power

Im looking into getting a couple new rods and was wondering 4 power or 5 power Zbone for a jig rod. How does a 4 power or 5 power compare to a 4 power NRX?

Kistler Zbone vs NRX

Im looking into Kistler Zbones, but was wondering if anyone has had a 4 power or 5 power Zbone. Which rod would you choose as a jig rod (3/8 oz to 1/2 oz jigs)? Ive heard a 5 power Zbone is similar to a 4 power NRX such as a 854. Any advise would be appreciated.

NRX vs EVERGREEN Rods

Anyone have experience with this rod: EVERGREEN INSPIRARE TKIC-70H"Egoist" (tournament series) or any Evergreen rod. I've heard Evergreen rods are top notch. How do they compare to a Destroyer X7, NRX, etc in terms of finish and sensitivity?

Re: Metanium MGL vs Diawa Steez SV TWS

Do you think the Steez SV TWS (7.1:1) is the better option over the Stee SV (8.1:1)?
