Bearings are sufficiently washed in ultrasonic cleaner with white spirit without disassembly. If the cleaner is powerful enough (40 watts or more).
I meant the dirtier parts of a reel, sorry.

I still use white spirit (Stoddard solvent, shellite).
Not in bedroom...
But do not expect that ultrasonic cleaner will clean everything "by itself". A brush will still have to help.

It's good that you wasn't come last year. All summer was terrible heat, fire, smoke, drought, drying up rivers.

Hi Fred, http://vlad.mi.ru/txt/gqs/tuna.htm . The more turns the better, the more tight the better. I use it for many years, only. With 10+ turns not less 70% for new line, and it does not get tired , i.e. for a well used line the digit tends to 100%... and more :) Just for braids, not for mono, for...

Jokes aside, key word here 'baitcasting' (presents in my poll and absents in Cal's poll).
