Re: G-Rods Game Changer Rod thread
This is false. All the important parts, blank/guides, are Japanese. Very high quality manufacturing.tacklejunkie2 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2017 10:26 amTT previously did a review of a crankbait rod made by G-Rods. The review states they're made in China.

Re: G-Rods Game Changer Rod thread
Figured I would start this as a way for people to give their input on the new Game Changer rods by G-Rods International. I just got the 6'9"M casting (fast action all purpose medium) and 6'8"M (mod-fast medium jerkbait) rods. Build finish is as good as you will find IMO. JDM quality looks. A quick ...

Re: Expride A vs Orochi XX (2018)
If anyone can compare the 6’6 expride to the 6’5 orochi xxx JDM for jerkbaits I’d love to hear your opinion! Thx I can't compare them, but I did get the 6'6MF Expride from TW last summer and found that the action was a little slower than I wanted. It seemed more like ModFast to me, bending deeper i...

Re: Vision 110 Jr hook upgrade(?)
10# line is way too heavy. They were designed to be fished on spinning gear with 6# line, that is why so many have issues with the hooks. Drop down to 6# or 8# line with a ML rod and you'll be amazed at the performance. The only problem is you'll have to play the fish out a little bit but you'll la...

Vision 110 Jr hook upgrade(?)
The megabass 110 jr. gets a ton of bites but those #8 hooks are simply too weak for large bass. Even with 10# line they bend out. So, I’m wondering since they are shorter jerkbaits, if instead of 3 #8s, I put on 2 #5 nano finesse on the front and back, and leave the middle ring hookless.... Is this ...

Re: Daiwa Tatula 7'2"MHRB or 7'2"HFB
Regarding the 7.2MHRb, do you guys thinks it’s “passable” for Use as a crankbait rod? I have one, but Don’t use it much since I got a similar (but faster action) g-rod. But I have nothing else that could be any good for cranking.
Thanks!
