Re: NRX + 821 Ned Rig

Just bought the 821 sight unseen. Waiting on it to arrive. Was there a noticeable difference between it and the 822 DSR? I am looking for something that will double as an option for crappie as well.

Destroyer P5 One Ten Special

Possibly looking at picking up this rod and wanted to get some feedback from anyone that has used this rod. Has there been breakage issues like the US Destroyers?

Re: Megabass rods keep breaking while casting

Had many of the same problems you describe. Made the switch away from them due to breakage issues. Mine were in the previous Destroyer series prior to the P5. Ya I’m hoping I don’t get to that but if one more does then I might have to. What rods you use now? I’m curious to know what other brands ke...

Re: Nrx+ 872 vs steez 76mml

I have the 872 and love it! Use mine for throwing tubes up north for smallies an shakey heads here in the south for largemouth. I highly recommend grabbing one.

Re: Megabass F4-69RSDti Orochi Evolution

I had the 2015 and it was a great DR rod. However, I like the NRX 822 DSR much more and sold the Megabass. I felt like the sensitivity was better on the NRX and the fear of breaking the Megabass scared me a bit. With the Loomis it is still made and can be replaced if broken.

Re: Poison Adrena vs Megabass

I have not used either, but have the 6'11" Medium. To me it's closer to a MH and think it would be great for spinnerbaits. I've used it for chatterbaits and like it as well as for rattle baits. Very versatile rod IMO.

Re: New Megabass Destroyers

Those new rods look sick! I'm with you about the new Destroyers, not that impressed with the baitcasters. Do love the Addermine though. Alright ladies and gents. These must be them. I’m digging the handle nut personally. And the carbon grip models gave me a bit of a megab...r. Even the handles are n...

Re: Conquest 904 vs. 905

I have both rods. The 904 is a great 1/2 ounce jig rod and great for pitching plastics as well.
