Re: New Tatula is $100
Follow-up to my post above. The US 2024 Tatula 100 uses a bigger diameter spool than the China market Salamandura 103 SV spool. I mic’ed the three 103 Salamandura SV spools I have at 31.78mm diameter. The Salamandura 150 SV spools mic at 33.78mm diameter for reference, and fit both Tatula Elite reel...

Re: New Tatula is $100
What are the odds this new 100 TW reel would accept the 32mm SV spool? I'd be willing to bet that it will drop right in. I’m kinda hoping so, I have a few red Salamandura 103 SV spools (32mm) that could use a home. Would kinda be like an aluminum sideplate 103 SV. Might bring a spool with me to Cab...

Re: Daiwa costal 150 sv gear swap
I literally just swapped in a Salamandura 150 SV spool (just a red Coastal 150 SV spool) into an 8 gear Elite Long Cast reel tonight and was very impressed with its casting compared to the stock Elite Long Cast spool. Was casting a no. 5 skirted, in-line, single blade spinner. Definitely keep that r...

Re: Anyone have any recent experiences with NFC?
DenhamBruce, Thank you for your insight in this matter. It’s greatly appreciated! If you’d like to private message me, I’ll give you my name and you can call NFC and see if I’m Pro Staff, an employee, whatever “shill” want to believe I am. I’ve spent $14,266.88 with NFC since October 10, 2021. Surpr...

Re: Anyone have any recent experiences with NFC?
No affiliation what so ever. Just my hard earned dollars spent with NFC that could go to anyone producing what NFC does. I’m sponsored by me 8-) Why would I need to be affiliated with NFC to call somebody for publically bashing a company for not going above and beyond their stated warranty practice?...

Re: Anyone have any recent experiences with NFC?
Ok, clearly you aren’t used to how NFC rolls. Lol what a joke - nobody cares about your 89 perfectly received blanks, that's how things should go - we want to know what happens when things go wrong, and obviously NFC has a long and rich history of screwing their customers on that front. Lol, what a...

Re: Anyone have any recent experiences with NFC?
Kindly ask all you want. I’m not changing my stance. Folks like yourself are 100% the reason I will never build rods as a business. I was trying to be as polite as possible, here. NFC is 100% not the right choice for you.

Re: Anyone have any recent experiences with NFC?
Ok, clearly you aren’t used to how NFC rolls. I understand you are frustrated, I would be, too. As an individual who wraps rods, there isn’t a chance in hell I find cracks of the magnitude you portrayed, after I finished wrapping the rod. Literally 0% chance. If you gave NFC that same exact story, t...

Re: Anyone have any recent experiences with NFC?
Hindsight is 20/20 on everything. I would have went about things differently. I know you are frustrated, but your mildly condescending opening lines automatically would put anyone on-guard. Given that shipping cost, which has been that way for quite some time now, this may not have been an ideal ris...

Re: Anyone have any recent experiences with NFC?
I don’t plan to reach out to them in the least. I don’t need to. They are a company whose customer service ISN’T “the customer is always right.” I’ve pointed that out in this thread earlier, and elsewhere on the forum. I know they put out some flubs, everyone does. Here’s what I’ve noticed when it c...

Re: Anyone have any recent experiences with NFC?
That is a horrible experience. I guess it has been "buyer beware" with NFC for sometime and for those who purchase in hopes of a good experience, should expect to be dissapointed. This is a good example as to why "American Made" has gone down the drain. This coming from an American. It's embarrasin...

Awesome! Let me know how it turns out? I was considering trying that myself.
